Reason for this mod:

This mod was created as a thank you to DarkOne and GStaff for dealing with thieves who steal mods and upload them to the Steam Studio as their own work.
You are an important asset to the modding community. Thanks. :)
Although I created a standalone version of this mod, it is a modder resource for all things Skyrim.
I hope the community uses it in their work and enjoys it.
What does this mod do?

This mod adds a DarkOne Bow to the door inside the Companions mead hall in Whiterun (below the table to the right of the main entrance).
It can also be used with Ebony's blacksmith, which can also be improved.

Yes, this mod is a direct gift from the Skyrim modding community.
I only ask that credit be given for my original work and that the name of the bow retain the word "DarkOne" somewhere on it.
I also ask that its purpose be preserved.
Only in DarkOne's honor.
After all it's directly thanks to DarkOne and GStaff.

For the modding community:
have fun.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
