This mod turns Darkwater Crossing into a town/village. Add a blacksmith, plus two NPCs who are obviously mentioned in the game but don't appear (sadly they have no dialogue, but hey, not everyone needs or wants to talk to you) and I also give the residents shelter, and a family of farmers to maintain the farm. Verner, who owned the settlement, had been promoted to Thane, and his homely lads were on the road watching for bandits or troops.

This mod turns Darkwater Crossing into a small town/village. Adding in a Blacksmith, adding in two npcs who are apparently mentioned in game but don't appear (sadly they don't have dialogue but hey not everyone needs or wants to talk to you) I've also given the residents homes, and a farmer family to maintain the farm. Verner who owns the settlement has been promoted to Thane and has a housecarl who watches the roads for bandits or armies.
