Have you ever felt like something was missing towards the end of Dark Brotherhood? After slaying the most notorious character in the game, are you destined to hunt the lesser beings at the behest of the Night Mother? This mod attempts to keep Dark Brotherhood interesting while increasing its functionality for players.

The plugin is labeled "ESL" and has an extension of ".esp", so you can place it anywhere in your mods load list.

This mod creates an MCM menu with the following options related to the Dark Brotherhood (uploaded image):

Mark as essential

• "Torture Victim" - Allows you to mark torture victims as essential. You'll be able to stab, punch, kick, torture, etc. as many as you want without worrying about killing them.
• "Shadowmere" - Makes it impossible for a Shadowmere to die (useful even if it is already difficult to kill a Shadowmere).

Task

• "Start DB Forever Mission" - Allows you to start this mission immediately as if you were approaching the Night Mother.
• "Start Special Request" - initiate a random mission and the courier will send you a 10,000-word letter with encrypted information related to your target (in case someone opens the letter on your behalf). There are 8 random missions available: i) Rogue Guide; ii) Bandit Leader; iii) Sworn Leader; iv) Vampire Master; v) Talmor Judiciary; vi) Royal Officer**; vii) Stormcloak**; and viii) Orc Warrior. The first four missions will randomly select a target on an NPC that exists in your world, while the last four missions will spawn targets at random locations. You can continue performing these tasks for as long as you wish.

*The target never spawns in Windhelm or Volkihar castle.

**The objective may spawn in an empty military camp (this is a mission I made sure to play even if the Civil War was complete).

Gold card rewards

This section will allow you to change the rewards you receive when launching the Dark Brotherhood Special Requirements.

• "Shadowmere Speed" - Allows you to change the speed of Shadowmere up to 3x faster.
• "Add Tortured Persons" - Adds two pieces of human flesh and two drops of blood potion to each tortured person. To obtain these shards, you must pickpocket the victim (take it from them!). Once you activate this option, you will need to wait three days before you can cheer for these torture victims again.

• Changes to the "Dark Brotherhood Forever" mission scenario (almost no mod can change this).

•Change torture victims to other new NPCs (who changed these poor victims?).
