Improved enchantments for Dark Brotherhood armor and clothing, making them viable equipment without enchantments. Includes the Shroud Set, the Ancient Shroud Set, the Shroud Set and the new Ancient Shroud Set.

Dark Brotherhood charisma improved

This mod enhances and improves the enchantments for all Dark Brotherhood armor sets. This includes the standard "Shroud" you get when you first join, as well as the "Ancient Shroud" setting you get at the end of the quest line. In addition, the "Shrouds" were significantly improved and a completely new set of "Ancient Shrouds" were created.

Note: I chose these enhancements with a balance in mind. Whether I have achieved it or not is up to you.

Why this mod exists:

While the standard enchantments for armor are acceptable, they are well below what enchantments can achieve. On the other hand, the shrouding robe is actually useless. Make a novice level enchantment and don't even add magicka regeneration or anything of note.

This mod aims to improve all Dark Brotherhood gear to make it a viable end game without necessarily being obsessive.

Mod changes:

Shrouded Hood: Rating increased to 14, making it comparable to scaled armor. It now provides a 25% bonus to Alchemy and Archery.

Armor: Level increased to 32, equivalent to level armor. It now provides 100% resistance to poison and 15% enhanced illusion effects.

Shroud Gloves: Level increased to 9, making it the same as level armor. It now silences all spells except the "Backstab" enchantment.

Shroud Boots: Rating increased to 9, making them on par with scaled armor. In addition to the "silencing" effect, it also increases stealth by 25%.

Ancient Cloak Hood: Rating increased to 16, equivalent to Glass Armor. It now provides a 35% bonus to Alchemy and Archery.

Ancient Shroud: Rating increased to 38, equivalent to glass. It provides 100% resistance to poison, 25% enhanced illusion resistance, and 15% resistance to magic.

Ancient Shroud Gloves: Rating unchanged (equivalent to quality dragon scales). It now silences all spells except the "Backstab" enchantment.

Ancient Shroud Boots: Rating unchanged (equivalent to quality dragon scales). In addition to the "silencing" effect, it also increases the effectiveness of sneak attacks by 35%.

Shroud Hood (Costume): Now increases Magicka's defense by 30 points and increases destruction damage by 15%.

Shrouded Robe (Costume): Strengthens the illusion by 15% and increases the regeneration of magic cards by 100%.

Handwrap (Clothing): It now silences all spells except the "Backstab" enchantment.

Wrap Shoes (Costume): In addition to having the "muffle" effect, it also increases stealth by 25%.

New: Ancient Iron Fist set.

These can be found in the same place as the Ancient Armor set.

Ancient Shroud (Costume): Strengthens the magic card by 50 points and increases destruction damage by 25%.

Ancient Robe (Costume): The casting cost of all spells is reduced by 15% and the magic card regeneration effect is increased by 150%.

Ancient Handwraps (Apparel): In addition to the "Backstab" enchantment, it now silences all spells and increases magic resistance by 15%.

Ancient Shroud Leather Shoes: In addition to having the "muffle" effect, it also increases stealth by 35%.

Installation/Compatibility:

This is a very simple mod that can be installed normally via your mod manager or option, or manually by extracting it to the Skyrim/data folder.

It should be compatible with all mods as long as they don't come into direct contact with Dark Brotherhood equipment (Texture Mod Compatible).
