Dagger SSE

A port of the blueboars original mod that crafts a complete set of rapiers, "cutting and thrusting" swords, and daggers associated with the Light Smithing perk.

Craft a complete set of rapiers, "cutting and thrusting" swords, and daggers based on the Lightsmith perk. All weapons now have full scabbards. Rapiers are lighter than standard swords and do slightly less damage, but they are faster and have longer range. "Cut and Thrust" swords are shorter than rapiers, but lighter and faster than standard long swords.

Daggers are classified as armor; they function as shields and cannot be used to attack unless you have the Shield Blast perk. However, I also included an exact matching set of casual daggers as weapons. (These are in addition to daggers and can only be assigned to shield bearers.)

If you want defensive and offensive options, you can build parrying and offhand daggers. Make sure to equip the left hand dagger to your left hand. I couldn't get the hotkeys to work properly on this combo, but you can switch between the daggers in your inventory.

Rapiers and daggers can be built with Steel, Silver, Skyforge Steel, Elf, Advanced, Glass and Dragonbone variants. Dragonslayer and Stalhrim variants are also available. All use light-forged perks and are fully recyclable. Vampire hunters will find silver weapons (crafted from silver swords) particularly useful.

The parrying daggers are categorized as armor; they function as shields, and can't be used to attack unless you have shield bash perks.However, I've also included a complete matching set of offhand daggers as weapons.(These are designed as a supplement to the parrying daggers, and can only be assigned to the shield hand.)

If you want the option to defend and attack, you could build both parrying and offhand daggers.Be sure to equip the offhand dagger to the left hand.I have not been able to make the hotkeys work properly for this combination, but you can switch between daggers in your Inventory.
