Expanded options for the Daedric Reaper set. Added longswords (fast greatswords), greatswords and daggers. Different glow colors: you can mix them according to your needs. There's also the option to swap out the female torso to cover more skin.
The textures of the Daedric Reaper mod are fantastic but the mod lacks weapon variety as it only contains a one handed sword. So I thought I made my own weapon for it.
IMPORTANT: In order to use my mod, you must have Daedric Reaper installed. Just installed, you don't need to use the items in this mod.
You can use this if you just want a texture alternative for your vanilla Diedric armor.
Mod description
long sword
The new greatsword is called the "Daedric Reaper Longsword" and it uses the daedric one-handed sword model. In my opinion, the daedric greatsword model is terrible, while the sword looks fine, like a heavy saber. I love sabers!
It is craftable, upgradeable and enchantable. It's faster than its daedric greatsword counterpart, and the same as the Sword or Ebony Blade - my favorite vanilla two-handed weapon - but with slightly lower base damage. It does less damage per hit, but more damage per second.
This mod uses the same crafting and upgrade recipes as the daedric greatsword. No manual work or specific progression conditions required. Just dress it up with some ebony ingots, a daedra heart and some leather and you're good to go.
Greatsword
This is a true giant sword. It utilizes the Daedric Greatsword model. Bigger, heavier and more impactful. As such, it's slower than the Longsword, but the base damage is much increased. The DPS is the same as on the longsword.
dagger
Daggers have the same characteristics as greatswords. It is slightly faster than its daedric counterpart, and also has slightly higher base damage, giving the DPS increase consistent with swords and longswords. This is because I don't want to increase the speed any higher and look bad when swinging the weapon.
generally
My mod provides the same glow colors as the original Daedric Reaper mod. I'm currently deciding if I want to expand on the colors. Maybe some extra blue, green, orange, etc. It's even possible to completely modify the color options offered by Daedric Reaper to have more colors on the armor and sword as well. And/or being able to mix and match different colors of each piece so you can light up like a Christmas tree. Please feel free to leave feedback on this.
This mod comes with optional tweaks to the original Daedric Reaper mod's Reaper Sword (one-handed). This is because I think the sword is too powerful. It already embodies a massive speed boost, making it almost as fast as the dagger, and its base damage is increased compared to the vanilla Delica Sword. I lowered the attack speed slightly - it's still faster than a daedric sword - and lowered the base damage to be on par with a daedric sword. The result is higher damage per second compared to vanilla. If you don't like it, you can always choose not to use my changes in the installer.
Last but not least, there is an option to replace the Deserter X's skimpy/revealing female torso model with a standard daedric model. If you want to use a DX model, do not check any corresponding options in the installer.
Install
Use the mod manager of your choice (Mod Manager, Mod Organizer, etc.) or install the files manually. I recommend using the mod manager as the mod is provided as a FOMOD installer, allowing you to easily select your preferred glow color.
If you want to install manually, you must select the files from the base folder and the contents from one of the color folders.
If you like my mod please endorse it so others may notice it.
Disclaimer: This mod does not use any assets created by the author of Daedric Reaper. It just references the texture in the mod. This is why you need the original mod.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
