Classic Skyrim | Special Edition

Customizable camera allows you to modify the camera in almost any way you want through the MCM provided by the SkyUI mod, with the following additional features:

-Swap side keys allow you to quickly change camera sides with the push of a button.

-TFC mode lets you switch between a normal camera and a flying camera to explore your surroundings.

  • Adaptive sneaking allows you to sneak using a separate height slider, useful if a character is in your way and unable to aim.
  • Adaptive crosshair hides the crosshair when using melee weapons and shows it when you use ranged weapons or spells.
  • View mode, with the ability to toggle via hotkeys, can switch to a user-defined camera for various uses, such as portrait view or eagle view.
  • Configure the file system to save and load from external files. PapyrusUtil SE needs to be installed to use this feature.

Localization support is available starting with version 2.03. Translation files can be found in "Data\Interface\Translations\..." and their names start with "customizable camera_XXX".

There are still some messages stuck in English, this is because I can't change it in the translation file, but these messages are rare so I hope it doesn't bother anyone.

Require:

-SkyUI

-SKSE64

-PapyrusUtil SE (software requirement, only applies if you want the Profiles system and TFC to work properly)

compatibility:

  • Any mods that change the camera via script INI editing are directly incompatible.

Installation and uninstallation:

  • Install via your favorite mod manager.
  • In the game, wait for the MCM to send a message: MCM has registered a new menu. Only after this will it appear in MCM. If it doesn't appear, save and load, then wait.

To uninstall, simply remove Customizable Camera from your favorite mod manager. Remember to remove your weapon first and then put the game sheath on to restore the vanilla camera after uninstalling.

Be sure to check out my other mods, you never know what you might find!

-The Age of Mythology

  • Rural weather and lighting

-Hyperrealistic lighting

-Through scrolls and spells

and more!

Classic Skyrim | Special Edition

Customizable Camera lets you modify the camera in almost any way you want via MCM which is offered by SkyUI mod and comes with extra features such as following:

  • Swap Side key allows you to change the camera sides quickly at the press of a button.
  • TFC Mode lets you toggle between normal camera and a flying camera that you can use to explore your surroundings.
  • Adaptive Sneaking allows you use a separate height slider for sneaking, useful if your character is in your way and can't aim.

  • View Mode, a feature toggled by hotkey that switches to an user defined camera for various purposes such as portrait view or eagle view.
  • Profiles system to save and load from external files. Needs PapyrusUtil SE to be installed for this feature to work.

Localization support is available beginning with version 2.03. Translation files can be found in "Data\Interface\Translations\..." starting with "customizable camera_XXX" in their name.

There are still some messages stuck in english, that's because I've been unable to make those change-able in translation files, but they are rare so I hope it doesn't bother anyone.

Requirements:

  • SkyUI
  • SKSE64
  • PapyrusUtil SE (soft requirement, only if you want Profiles system and TFC to work)

Compatibility:

  • Any mod that alters the camera through scripted INI editing is directly incompatible.

Install & Uninstall:

1.Install via your favorite mod manager.

  • In game, wait for MCM to message: MCM registered …

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
