About this mod Machine translation

Adds a radar to the HUD that displays nearby enemies, followers, and neutral NPCs to help you understand what's relevant to you in the world of Skyrim.

Skyrim Radar Mod SE

NOTE: This initial release is very inconsistent, especially when loading icons in areas with many NPCs. Use at your own risk.

Current issues:

The radar is stuck in an opaque black circle. Open MCM at least once to resolve this issue.

No icon is displayed when entering an area. Opening one of the tab menus (Skills, Magic, Items, Maps) and closing it again should reveal the icon.

Oldrim version

feature

Icons representing followers, enemies, guards, horses, predators, prey, etc.

The icon changes in context, as if it turns red when it deteriorates.

NPCs become corpses on the radar when killed, and the icon color depends on whether you killed the NPC.

When you loot a corpse, the corpse is removed from the radar.

Choose a round or rectangular radar shape.

Lots of configuration options.

The bars surrounding the radar represent health/stamina/mana/carry weight.

Install

Make sure SKSE and SkyUI are installed.

Use NMM to install the mod.

Configure the mod in MCM.

uninstall

Click "Uninstall" in the mod's MCM.

Change your location in the game (fast travel).

Save the game.

Uninstall the mod in NMM as usual.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
