About this mod Machine translation
Fully integrate the crossbows and bolts added by Dawnguard, Rare Curios, Elite Crossbows and Expanded Crossbow Pack into the world.
Require:
Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch
Weapons, armor, clothing and sundry repairs
Creation Club Content:
rare curio
Elite Crossbow
Extended crossbow bag
Unofficial Skyrim Creator Club content patch (not really a requirement, but highly recommended.)
The patch includes:
Non-WACCF
Morrowloot Ultimate
Patch that distributes Orc crossbows to Orc strongholds. (SSEEdit conflict issues may need to be resolved on the user side.)
Crossbow integrated features:
All crossbows except Dawnguard and Dwarven can be crafted with the appropriate perk. All beams and bolts have been roughly rebalanced to WACCF levels, including projectile velocity.
Dwarf crossbows and explosive bolts can only be crafted after completing Dawnguard's relevant Ancient Technology quest, or
Already received the Unfathomable Depths quest that rewards Ancient Knowledge.
Steel explosive bolts can be crafted after reading the annotations on Vanik's body or completing the relevant Ancient Technology quest. Vanik only appears on the vampire side if the "Prophet" quest. If the player has completed this questuse, update the required globals using the following console command:
Set CISteelExplodingBolts to 100
Dawnguard's ancient technology missions are unaffected. Completing them will still provide Sorine with a guaranteed supply of extra dwarven and steel bolts, as well as the ability to craft a dwarven crossbow.
Crossbow list:
Dawnguard crossbow
The original crossbow from Dawnguard, rebalanced to Elf level. Now deals extra damage against vampires like other Dawnguard weapons.
Once recruited and questioned by Sorine, it can only be crafted by members of the Dawnguard.

Used by bandits.
The original crossbow from Dawnguard, renamed and rebalanced.
The most common type of crossbow.
Stormcloaks and Stormcloak guards may spawn steel crossbows.
Added Bandit, Forsworn and Vampire chest loot.

Added to Silverhand.

Imperial and Imperial Guards may spawn with Imperial Crossbows.
Elven Crossbow

Orc Crossbow
Used by bandits.
Added Bandit, Forsworn and Vampire chest loot.
glass crossbow
Added to blacksmith list.
Added Bandit, Forsworn and Vampire chest loot.
Dwarven Crossbow
Rescaled to Ebony/Stalin level due to difficulty in obtaining.
It can only be crafted by completing the relevant Ancient Technology quest for the Dawnguard, or being rewarded with the Ancient Knowledge quest for the Unreachable Abyss.
Small chance of being found in dwarf chest loot.
Ebony Crossbow
Added to blacksmith list.
Added Bandit, Forsworn and Vampire chest loot.
Stalhrim crossbow
Added to blacksmith stalhrim list.
Added to Dragonborn bandit chest loot.
Where appropriate, the following bolts are also distributed:
iron bolt
Silver Arrow (only used by Silverhand)
steel bolts
Bonemold Bolt
Dwarf Bolt
Orc Bolt
Removed force effects from Explosive Bolts, so every plate and bucket no longer shoots out at the speed of light when you use Explosive Bolts. If you still want the force, just manually remove the blast changes in SSEEdit.
compatibility:
The best way is to use SSEEdit to check, but it should be compatible with most things with some SSEEdit tinkering.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
