Simple mod that adds a place to anchor horses in one place, outside of Whiterun. The world map allows for fast travel and a free place to sleep at any time. Available at any time after leaving Helgen at the start of the game. Hopefully after escaping Helgen you can get to Whiterun quickly without the long walk.

This is my first attempt. For me, riding a horse adds to the overall enjoyment of this amazing game.

This mod adds a place to assemble and maintain a herd in an environment that blends naturally with its surroundings.

Load up The Corral with a herd worthy of Thane using your favorite horse mods.

I love the nice nimble horses of the Swift Stable and made Corral my home with the Convenient Horse.

This ensures that no matter where you are, your horse always comes back to the same spot,

So you and all your followers will never have to walk.

The Corral office provides beds and dressers for storage. Business Ledger currently has no functionality,

But may be developed in the future based on interest in the mod.

Corral can be installed using the Mod Manager or manually by simply pasting the files into the Data folder

Game directory. Since all different versions of Skyrim are available, it is recommended to install Helgen after escaping it to prevent any new game compatibility issues. After Helgen, it can be installed/uninstalled at any time, only the "missing mod" warning appears, but does not affect playback. If you already have horses in the "corral" when you unload the corral, they will just stand in the field. Certain landscape outlines can be slightly altered without adverse effects through other mods that affect the terrain. For example, the popular player home model "Elysium Estates" located in The Corral** will change the landscape of The Corral to a more original vanilla game. It is necessary to load Corral ahead of time in mod order so that other mods can override it. For Elysium, if you load it before The Corral, the land located around the stalls and animal enclosure areas will be considered unusable. That said, I didn't experience any ill effects during my testing. I invite other modders to use The Corral in their projects, perhaps extending its functionality in creative ways after acknowledging the original mod in their work. Use your favorite horse mods to fill The Corral with a herd worthy of a Thane.

I like the beautiful and nimble horses of "Swift Steed Stables" and use "Convenient Horses" to set The Corral as they're home.

Doing this assures your horses will always return to the same spot no matter where you leave them,

so you and all of your followers will never have to walk.
