How to get it: Ebony Forge



The Camlorn Greatsword is a classic medieval style longsword that is customizable. This is the first mod in my "Configurable Armory" series, and thus offers a range of material and color options and combinations, allowing you to customize the sword to your taste, as well as select the weapon's attributes in-game. All customization is done during installation, making the mod very lightweight with absolutely no scripts or requirements.

When installing a mod containing FOMOD, you will encounter the following choices:



• Material selection: There are three different materials to choose from for the metal parts of the sword and scabbard.

Steel: Blade, guard and hilt made of classic shiny steel.

Blackened Steel: Worn black steel used for blades, guards, and saddles.

Royal Steel Company: On a shiny steel blade, gold-plated steel is used for the handguard and fore-saddle.



• Clip point selection: The sword hilt is available in 5 different leather colors: black, brown, blue, green or red

• Scabbard selection: The same 5 leather colors are available, and the metal part of the scabbard matches your sword

The three options are independent of each other, with Camlorn Greatsword available in 75 possible material/color combinations and can be safely reinstalled and materials/colors changed at any time.

The fourth and final step in installing Camlorn Greatsword is to select its properties in the game. You can choose to have the sword use the properties of Skyrim's original Steel Greatsword, Norse Greatsword, or Ebony Greatsword, affecting its damage, weight, and crafting & tempering requirements (but not the sword's visual effects). Alternatively, you can choose to craft three versions of the sword in the game at the same time.

As with other customization options, it's completely safe to reinstall and choose different in-game attributes at any time, although this will only affect the versions of the sword you can craft, not the attributes of swords you already own.

Once installed, Camren's Greatsword can be crafted at any forge as long as the corresponding forging perks are unlocked (Iron Forge gets the Steel Greatsword properties, Advanced Armor gets the Norse Greatsword properties, Ebony Forge gets the Ebony Greatsword properties).

In addition, due to player requests, I have added two optional accessories:

-Remove the scabbard attachment from the scabbard so that the scabbard can hang freely on your back

-A plugin that adds a one-handed longsword variant of the sword and has a way to select in-game attributes (does not affect the visuals, they will match what you select for the main file)

New features in version 1.1:

-A separate silver Camlorn traditional sword engraved with decorative details has been added to the main mod file, using the properties of the Skyrim Silver Greatsword.

- Optional add-on available in the main mod file to add a usable one-handed version of the Camlorn sword



To install the mod, simply download to your mod manager and use the included FOMOD to customize the sword. This method is highly recommended and the sword is designed around the method used! Any optional additional files should be loaded after the main plugin and will require the main plugin.



4k and 2k versions are available (the archive file is large as it includes every possible version of the sword's textures, the actual deployed file size is much smaller). All available ESP files are ESL tagged.
