Complete Alchemy and Cooking Overhaul Patch - CACO

by Skeleton Jack·v1.0·Updated 2018-09-15

CACO is a great mod, but it does conflict with many other mods. I have patches for LOTD, SRCEO, KYE, Audio OS, Ars Metallica, Bruma, MLU, Sacrosanct, SkyTEST, Vigor and WACCF. Designed specifically for Lexy LOTD, I have separated all the patches into separate patches for everyone to use

What are all the patches for SJ?

A gift for everyone!!

I'm running the Lexy LOTD build these days and I saw that CACO was released today. So I decided to dig into CACO and make a conflict resolution patch for the Lexy LOTD guide.

However, for my OMEGA mindset, I build each conflict resolution into its own Patch so that if I need to change something, the update will show up, or if I decide to remove the mod from the build, it's easier to handle down the road. Because I love sharing, I'm nice to other people.

Hey SJ, is there going to be an AIO patch like the one you made for Omega?

I've given you a gift... o.O

It depends on the need and kryptopyr. I would like to come up with a single esp AIO conflict resolution patch for the entire merge that I have built with all of them. But this requires kryptopyr's permission to use her Ordinator Patch asset. So we'll see where that goes.

This patch is really small...

That's what she said!

Some mods only need one or two fixes. To be honest, that's not my concern. Like I said, I'm working on a conflict resolution patch for my version of the mod. I'm using all the mods presented here and I've merged all these patches into one esp, already written for Merged Plugins myself. I just took the extra time to separate all the edits into their respective mods so that others can benefit from my work.

Lexy LOTD User

It's very simple.

Create a new merge profile in MO2.

Add all these patches and put them into a folder.

Add Ordinator CACO patch. You have to use a virtual esp called WM Flora Fixes esp master in xEdit using "Clean Masters" first. It doesn't have any records from that esp.

Place OMEGA Lexy LOTD CACO Consistency Patch.esp last in the load order.

Run the merge plugin and make a new AIO CR patch.

Lexy may have decided to throw this into its own CR patch, which makes the question moot. Whatever she decides, we will relate to. Therefore, this section may disappear to follow her guidance instructions. However, the patches here will remain available for others to use.

Why is there no FOMOD installer? ! ? !

sigh...

Because I'm done. I made the patch and didn't want to waste any more time. I've spent a lot of time on this and I have all my other projects on my plate.

Acknowledgments and thank you

Because people need props!

Big thanks to kryptopyr for making CACO.

What's with all the Patches SJ?

Presents for everyone!!

I'm running a Lexy LOTD build these days and I saw that CACO released today. So I decided to just deep dive CACO and make a conflict resolution patch for the Lexy LOTD Guide.

However, true to my OMEGA mind set I built each conflict resolution into its own Patch so that if I ever needed to change things, updates came out, or if I decided to remove mods from the build then it'd be easier to deal with down the road. Which is great for everyone else since I like to share.

I already gave you presents...  o.O

That depends on the need and kryptopyr. I'd like to just put up the entire merged single es …

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
