About this mod Machine translation

More than 70 NPCs have been added to the game. The NPCs are very friendly, use vanilla assets and blend in with Skyrim's denizens. All NPCs are unique and populate palaces, inns, prisons, temples and other places. NPCs include followers and marriage candidates of all races and can be found in the appropriate areas.

More than 70 NPCs have been added to the game, many of which are followers and marriage candidates. Without using any modded assets, the NPC will blend seamlessly with all Skyrims NPCs, so it won't break your immersion. NPCs live in locations that players may stumble upon, such as Inns, Keeps, Prisons, and other locations.

The philosophy behind the mode aims to expand Skyrim's interactive characters without departing from the original aesthetic. I find that a lot of NPC mods tend to be perfect models (not that there's anything wrong with that) that look fishy. I tried to solve this problem by basing many of the characters on real people, or giving them flaws and imperfections to make them look less perfect while still being aesthetically pleasing or interesting. Because sometimes you just need a little mediocrity in life.

NPCs are divided into several categories:

National People's Congress

Adventurer ~ NPC person You will find someone in the inn who is willing to join the first adventurer. These NPCs are ready to go, evolve with the players and are essential. Each one has their own unique statistics and preferred fighting style. Originally intended to be a hireling, but unfortunately Skyrim's voice files are too restrictive as they just join you for free like they already know you from somewhere... hey, your name is everywhere!

Spouse~The only fate in the NPC's life is to be swept away by some dashing hero or plump heroine. These NPCs can be found in many different places. They won't follow like adventurers (at least not in this mode) and you'll find their combat skills to be lackluster. But with the addition of the Amulet of Mara, these normally dismissive NPCs may suddenly take a keen interest in Tamriel's newest protagonist.

Criminals ~ NPCs can be found in prison cells in Skyrim. Break them down and they will very generously follow you and let their lives defend you if need be. Not as effective as an adventure, these criminals are able to contend with an interesting or even suspicious companion on their journey, and may compliment an enterprising thief or assassin. Most of them are willing to marry players, you know for tax purposes.

Servants ~ NPCs who make a living for Skyrim's Jarls and Orc chieftains. These servants are fearsome warriors, but they'll follow you around and happily take away some extra junk. Yet as servants, whenever they are not following you in the wilderness, they become stewards from whom you can purchase food and drink. Ever wanted to have your own personal butler at home? Well now you can! Suitable for requirements model.

Special/Other ~ These guys are weird. Think of them like Easter eggs. Don't worry, don't spoil the Easter eggs. I'm not a fan of those myself.

Install:

Install using the mod manager of your choice.

OR

Manually add the files to the skyrimSE data folder by extracting the .Zip file. (SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data)

compatibility:

Anything that replaces the cells occupied by these characters will usually cause the NPC to not appear.

suggestion:

I'm a UNP guy myself and I use these agencies in my screenshots, depending on your custom agencies the appearance of the NPCs may change from the screenshots I uploaded.

We highly recommend you use Relationship Conversation Overhaul – RDO SE. Due to the increased voice lines used by many NPCs. Otherwise, some characters will not be able to have conversations. (If you already have RDO SE and still can't talk to NPCs, check if they are spouses. If so, add an Amulet of Mara to yourself and then talk to them)

If you are collecting followers, I recommend Dhuester’s Amazing Follower Tweaks SE. This …

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
