About this mod Machine translation
This mod dynamically adds a Dragon Ball-like aura to the player and powerful mages you encounter. Now, a video showing what this mod does, because I'm scared of explanations in text form!

What does this thing do?
This mod dynamically adds Dragon Ball-like auras to the player and powerful mages you encounter. These auras require the mage to meet different conditions, and if these conditions are not met, they will ignite. The conditions are as follows:
The mage must have a spell in both hands (e.g., ready to fire).
The mage cannot sneak (the aura will ignite if the mage begins to sneak).
Mages cannot be invisible (equivalent to stealth).
If the mage uses proficient magic (i.e. destruction, restoration), they must have a minimum aura skill level (default: 60).
Will it affect my performance?
This mod adds spells to NPCs and players via quests that refresh when the player enters a new cell. I believe this is similar to
Dispensing method used in cryoelectrodecomposition. I haven't tested it on a modded game yet, so I don't know how the performance will be in this case. If you complain loudly to me, I'll probably fix it. The auras themselves are just a reshape of the vanilla Dragon Priest effect, so it's unlikely they'll be introduced overhead.
Recommended modules
Freeze Electrocution Burn - Adds cool effects to people killed by magic.
(SJG) Lights On - Spells give off light - I couldn't get the aura to glow properly so use this mod to add light to spells and auras.
Arctic - Frost Effect Redux, Inferno - Fire Effect Redux and Voltage - the "big three" textures.

What's this thing do anyway?
This mod dynamically adds Dragon Ball-esque auras to the player and powerful mages that you encounter. These auras require the mage to fulfill different conditions and will unignite if those conditions aren't fulfilled. The conditions are as follow:
The mage must have a spell active in either hand (as in, ready to fire).
The mage cannot be sneaking (aura will unignite if the mage starts to sneak).
The mage cannot be invisible (same as sneaking).
If the mage is using skilled magic (i.e. Destruction, Restoration), they must have a minimum skill level for the aura (Default: 60).
Will it nuke my performance?
This mod adds the spells to NPCs and the player through a quest that refreshes when the player enters a new cell. I believe this is similar to
the distribution method used in Frozen Electrocuted Combustion. I haven't tested on a heavily modded game, so I don't know how performance will fare in those situations. If you complain at me loud enough, I could probably fix it. The auras themselves are just retextures of the vanilla dragon priest effect, so it is unlikely that they will introduce overhead.
Recommended Mods
Frozen Electrocuted Combustion - Adds cool effects to those killed by magic.
(SJG) Lights On - Spells Emit Light - I couldn't get the auras to emit light properly, so use this mod to add light to spells, and subsequently the auras.
Arctic - Frost Effects Redux, Inferno - Fire Effects Redux, & Voltage - Retextures of the "Big Three".
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
