Collection of compatibility patches for Thorstone Town
Continuing my series "I want to use a unique architecture everywhere, but it requires a lot of compatibility patches"
Series....Shor's Stone! Soldierofwar is giving Shor's Stone a small overhaul in his Great Town of Shor's Stone, and I've put together a bunch of compatibility patches for things you need in your load order. This little thing - a lot that doesn't need tinkering
Accompanying patch notes
AI Overhaul SSE - Moved three placed idle markers to match new look.
Enhanced lighting and FX - only one patch this time as there are some new buildings and want to keep the lighting mood consistent across all buildings
them. Forward any clashes that resulted in a Shor boulder victory, transferring the added smoke to fit the new interior, and moving the door lights in place.
Ember HD - Forward Fire so that Ember and GToSS can be loaded in any order.
Skyrim II Lanterns - Transferred some lanterns to fit the new look. Additionally, the Tamriel Master Lights patch moves the blacksmith's forged light to match its new location.
Obsidian Mountain Fog - Teleporting forward to the large town of Shor's Stone disables mountain fog so that you can see the fortress, and allows both mods to be agnostic.
Stylish furniture and clutter overhaul - shifted paintings to match new interiors
Skyrim's Unique Treasures - Moved three placement objects to match the new interior.
Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition patch - a conflict-resolving patch that forwards some added persistence/keywords and disables an external plant that cut halfway through an object and looked incorrect.
Emerald Patch - No Emerald Master required. Verdant adds grass to several texture types, which makes some paths look too weedy. This patch redraws these extrusions to type without grass (for Verdant). It also works with other grass mods that do the same thing, so no master is set.
Install
Install using the Mod Manager/Organizer or drag and drop loose files into the Skyrim data folder. Patches should set the appropriate master and should be loaded after any mods being patched. The fix in question is for persistent objects, which may need to be resaved.
compatibility
I don't think this will cause any incompatibilities that may exist between the base mods. All moved objects should have been moved to non-overlapping positions. let me know what you hit

Continuing with my series of "I want to run with unique architecture everywhere, but that requires SO MANY compatibility patches"
series....Shor's Stone! soldierofwar put together a lovely little overhaul of Shor's Stone in his The Great Town of Shor's Stone, and I've put together a series of compatibility patches for things in my load order which needed it. This one is delightfully small - not that many things which needed to be patched
Included Patch Descriptions
AI Overhaul SSE - shifts three placed idle markers to match the new exteriors.
Enhanced Lights and FX - Only one patch this time around, due to there being a few new buildings and wanting to keep consistency in lighting mood across all of
them. Forwards any conflicts having Great Town of Shor's Stone win, shifted any added smoke to match the new interiors, and shifted door lights where appropriate.
Embers HD - Forwards the disabling of a fire such that Embers and GToSS can …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
