Cold Winter-Death Knight Spell Pack
Since I mostly play as a Death Knight-like character when necromancy is possible in RPGs, I decided to create my own modified spells inspired by the abilities and spells of the 3rd generation Death Knight from Warcraft.
I've been playing with these new spells for a few weeks, along with a few others I haven't made yet, and decided to release them to the public so everyone can live out your Deathknight fantasies!
describe:
Adds some new death knight inspired spells to the game.
Spells:
- Call an Army: Summons all corpses around you, regardless of their health (in death everyone is the same...), but only for 30 seconds. Transformation allowances will apply and the duration of work will be extended. Not effective against dragons or mechanical enemies. Basically, ritual stones are secondary powers that adjust properties and change visual and sound effects. [Optional ESP perpetuates this statement forever]
- Ruthless Winter: Creates a blizzard at your current location during cast, which deals damage, slows you down, and depending on your destructive abilities, may paralyze your enemies. Basically a Blizzard spell, but for your left hand (buggy for your right), with stats tweaked, self-damage removed for you and your minions, camera shake removed, and generally a "better" version of Blizzard FX.
- Choking: Cut off the enemy's air supply by lifting them into the air, incapacitating them, then slowly choking them to death. The destruction allowance will also apply here. Only creatures that are actually breathing are affected by the damage per second. For example, the undead will only suffer major damage if you throw them away. Basically, the Vampire Lord has tweaked attributes, with changed visuals and sound effects.
-Lift to Death: Lifts a skeletal minion until it dies or is dismissed. Counts towards summoning limit.
-Death Pact: Sacrifice your skeletal minions to restore health. Only used when summoning skeleton minions with "Resurrection of the Dead"
- Howling Explosion: Moderate blast of ice and snow that inflicts Frost Frenzy on your enemy and other nearby enemies. Frost Frenzy deals additional frost damage over 5 seconds.
-Anti-Magic Shell: Absorbs spells and dragon breath, and restores your own Magicka for a few seconds.
-Control the Undead: Force the target undead to temporarily fight for you.
Optional spells:
Summon Frost Serpent: Summons an undead Frost Serpent where you point to the ground. It rides with Bend Will Shout, although it's very proud of it and sometimes resists your shouting. Just keep calling and shouting and it will eventually complete your bid. IMPORTANT: Make sure there is enough space on the ground where you want to summon, or the SPELL WNT trigger! Basically a Frostdragon with custom textures, tweaked stats and slightly tweaked Frost shouts.
Where to get these spells:
As you enter Wyndheim through the main entrance, check out the brazier in front of the lodge. You'll find an ancient Ur containing a magic spell to the left of it.
Optional spells can be found in the pottery to the right of the brazier.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
