About this mod Machine translation

Add a player with custom storage and nearly everything you need in Riften.

This MOD has been completely modified in v.4.0

describe:

This mod is something I made for myself since almost every home game I've tested has lighting issues or weird bugs.

I want it to be as immersive and vanilla as possible, but include custom storage and more stuff to have everything in one place. Forge, workbench, cooking pot, smelter, tons of storage and more.

Place:

You can find a corpse near one of the helgen gateways with a key and some items inside.

You can search from there if you want, or you can view one of the screenshots to see it on a map.

Things in the house:

All items are stationary, meaning you can't accidentally throw them away.

There are lots of custom storage spaces like Soul Gem chests, bookshelves, ingredient racks, ingots and more.

Everything is placed by hand, not any additional mesh mods. Haha, as vanilla as it can get.

Install:

Use NMM or install manually.

important:

I've removed one of the weapon plaques because it was like hell. If your weapon is stuck, use the TCL command to get to the other side of the wall and you can get it out. It's how the engine handles plaque. Not good, lmao.

Fixed in v.4.0

Also, if you find any bugs, please let us know in the comments. Don’t report the same thing a trillion times.

previous version

-lots of stuff

Treat the house and most everything you see lol

Get out of the house and update. If you have any issues with any of the house modes while updating, get your stuff off your chest, go outside and save without the mod. Then enable and reload the game and get your stuff back home.

That will solve the problem.

THIS MOD HAS GOTTEN A COMPLETE REVISION IN v.4.0

Description:

This mod is something that ive made for myself since almost every player home mod ive tested has either lighting issues or weird bugs.

I wanted it to be as immersive and vanilla-like as possible but included custom storage and some more things to have everything in one place. A forge, workbenches, cooking pot, a smelter, lots of storage and a lot more.

Location:

You can find someones corpse near one of the helgen gateways that has the key and some more items on it.

If you want, you can search from there, or you can look at one of the screenshots to see it on the map.

Stuff in the house:

All the items are static, which means you wont toss them over accidentally.

There are many custom storages like the Soul Gem chest, Bookshelves, Ingredient Shelf, Ingots and more.

Everything has been handplaced and not made with any additional meshes mods. Its as vanilla as it can get, really, haha.

Installation:

Use NMM or install manually.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
