original skyrim
CLEARSPIRE allows players to purchase and upgrade two completely different types of houses*. You can choose one, the other or both. Clearspire Lodge is a large log cabin in the "Blackbriar Lodge" style and Clearspire Tower is a Dwemer style tower where you have access to all the usual facilities and more. Any house upgrade** (from Anders) must be purchased, but the price is compatible with Skyrim standards. Since so many different types of people use mods, I think it's best to err on the side of having "too many" potions, ingredients. If you want a simpler home, there's always Alchemist's Shack up the road.
*You can choose to skip upgrading Clearspire Tower entirely and sell it for 7000 septims. Warning: Once you sell Clearspire Tower, you won't be able to live there, a bored couple will move in. If you plan to sell your tower, don't pay for upgrades.
**Purchasing a home upgrade requires you to first purchase a Clearspire Lodge from the current owner (see below).
Requirements: SSE and PC
Location: Clearspire is located at a massive waterfall at the exit of the Darkwater Cavern, north of NILHEIM (northeast of Ivarstead). (see map)
Start: Go to Clearspire Lodge and buy 1500 Tablets from Brosia Volen.
The merchant will only arrive after completing the mission (from Anders) to clear Mzandr. In my standard mod style, merchants have thousands of septims to buy your expensive loot from. I do not recommend using the "Merchant Gold" mod from my mods as there may be issues with merchants having more than 20k gold.
Guards: You can choose to live alone and hire a pair of bodyguards to live in the cabin. Once Mzandr is cleared, you will be able to hire (8) guards to patrol day and night. If you wish, you can even arrange for swimmers to be invited to hang out in Clearspire Tower. All guards and followers are potential followers, traders or trainers. They are level with the player and equipped with level weapons - meaning if you are level 1, their weapons suck. They have the invisibility perk and therefore cannot detonate traps.
Remember: Patrolling Guards will only be available after mining is complete, while Duty Guards will remain in the Guardhouse.
Inquiry: First, you must arrive at Clearspire Lodge and purchase it from the existing shopkeeper, Brosia Volen. Once completed, he will tell you about a man in Ivarstead who can help you with supplies and upgrades. Anders can be found at the Vilemyr Inn in Ivarstead and can help you with house upgrades and begin your optional quest to make the merchants safe for Clearspire. Anders and Brosia Volen are voiced characters. Exploring this mode isn't epic in scale by any means, but I think it's more fun than just digging for another free house in Skyrim.
TELEPORT SPELL: Both Clearspire Tower and Lodge offer "Teleport Home" spell sheets that can be found in your home once upgraded. "Teleportation House" belongs to "Change". If you are using my Mt. Peril or Icicle Valley mods, the script is the same and you can probably override it if asked.
在任务锁定的地牢中负责并且不要使用传送之家法术(在任务期间你只能进入或离开某个位置的任务。)例如Skuldafn,Sovengarde等。
compatibility:
- Clearspire is also included in my mod, Qaxe's Questorium. If you use QQ, please do not install this file.
This mod requires the DRAGONBORN DLC and of course the update files.
- Clearspire is located in a popular module location. Plugins that modify this location will be incompatible.
This mod uses the same "floating" animation from the Dragonborn DLC. Any animation mode that prevents the Dragonborn float animation from working properly will not work with my mod. So far I've noticed that "smoking" mode causes the float animation to stop working.
Update: See Log tab above for details.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
