Books can be purchased from the following merchants for a token piece of gold: Urag Gro Shoub, Winterhold, Falion in Morbale, Beletor in Lavce in Vetrana and Lucan Valery's dealer in Riverwood. If you have a modem to add any of these merchants, it's best to use the Wrye Bash patching feature, otherwise some mods may be lost.
What's in version 2.2:
-Added a Ref ID and Base ID in this character, which are different cases requiring different codes, and the volume "Character" is divided into two because the amount of text increases;
-The two volumes of "Positioning" were merged into one volume;
- Fixed some bugs and bugs in text and code;
-Added healing methods from vampires and werewolves
Installation: Download the archive from the modem (when choosing to download the file, select the Skyrim version (Special\Legendary)), extract the chitsbook.bsa and chitsbook.esp files in the game's data folder, connect to the modem without anyone. The files in the BOK folder contain the text of the book in XML format (open with any text editor)
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
