introduce
After playing Skyrim for a while, it gets annoying having to constantly use soul traps so you can recharge your weapons. Also, while role playing is a good one, I've always been uncomfortable with using the souls of slain enemies to charge/obsess my stuff, so I made this mod.
renew! !
In version 1.02 I added an MCM. I also added the option to fill soul gems based on your enchantment level limit, since better soul gems produce better enchantments. I reset the default experience defaults and now add magic and enchantment experiences via script. I also cleaned up the script and fixed some minor issues. See below for the new default values. Therefore, if updating from a previous version, I recommend setting these spellings as default.
In version 1.01, you can now fill Azura's Star and Black Star. This version strongly recommends using multi-threaded acquisition of soul gems. It's because to fill those stars, I had to do a job. The mod places an invisible actor near you, then casts Soul Trap, which then kills the actor, so it works similarly to Soul Trap. So if you own a star and a soul gem is larger in size than the spell you are casting, it will fill that soul gem with smaller souls unless you have Get Soul Gem installed. Please wait a few seconds while the stars fill up! The work takes a while.
describe
This mod adds 5 spells so you can use Magicka to charge or refill soul gems. When you cast one of these spells, the weapon in your other hand will return to its original shape. If you don't have a weapon in your other hand, or if the weapon is already fully charged, it will fill its respective Soul Gem if there is an empty weapon in your inventory.
To keep things balanced and prevent you from casting these spells too much, your magicka regeneration rate will be reduced for a period of time when you cast these spells, between 30 and 70 seconds. It also depends on how charming you are. The higher the level, the less the regeneration rate is reduced. Note that if you cast the same spell twice, the effects will not stack, but the timer will reset. If you cast one spell and then another, the effects stack, so be careful!
In the main version, these spells are modifiers, but I've also added optional morphed versions by request.
To obtain these spells, you can purchase them from Farengar in Dragonsreach, or from Tolfdir (altered version)/Phinis Gestor (perverted version) at Mage's College in Winterhold.
The spells are added to them via script, so you shouldn't have any compatibility issues unless another mod might have changed their actor reference in some way.

Note that the default Magicka regeneration rate is 3/second.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
