About this mod Machine translation

SE port of the XG417 patch for making movable Spears and Halberds from Mihail's Centaurs Mod, using SSM and NAR animations respectively. It is recommended to use patch.

A simple patch to complement Mihail's Centaurs Mod.

In the Centaur model, four available weapons are thrown, all of which can be divided into spears and halberds. However, these use vanilla sword animations - very uniform.

This patch aims to fix this issue by enabling them to use animations from Animated Armory and Skyrim Spear Mechanics.

  • -Change

-------------

-All included weapons now use animations appropriate to their weapon type

-The halberd has been changed from a one-handed sword to a two-handed battleaxe to take advantage of NAR's animations

-Edited stats for Halberd almost match NAR's Iron Halberd

-Edited the .nif for both halberds so the game recognizes them as two-handed weapons

-Iron Guisarme and Forsworn spears use SSM's spear animations. Both remain as one-handed weapons

  • -Require

-Mihail's Centaur

-Animated Armory

-Skyrim Spear Mechanic

In his mod, Centaurs drop four usable weapons, all which can be classified as spears and halberds. These, however, use vanilla sword animations - VERY UNIMMERSIVE.

This patch aims to fix that by enabling them to use animations from both Animated Armoury and Skyrim Spear Mechanic.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
