This is almost a complete remake of my Arveden Royal Knight Armor-Weapons set
If you are interested in the non-modular version, or maybe prefer the older version. Check it out anyway. This page is mostly copied from the original page.
I have been a lurker in this community for many years. Always feeling sorry for myself for not being positive enough. Not anymore. I've made quite a few assets and have a concept for the game that I'm now canceling/abandoning because they are mine and I don't want them sitting in a needle of dust on my hard drive. I decided to repurpose them for Skyrim.
Without further ado. I present my Royal Knights of Arverden suit.
include:
A set of 64 pieces of modular armor, often mix and match to create your own look and style. Available in white and black colors. Steel and gold armor.
1 pike
1 halberd
1 big sword
1 long sword
1 shield
All recipes and tampering, statistics "balanced" Ebony Gear.
Hard requirements:
3BA/CBBE based body texture (I do plan to make a BHUNNP version. It might take a while. If anyone wants to convert it before me, please do it first.)
Raceme heels can work properly.
Soft/optional requirements:
Animated Armory - DAR Version - New weapons with animations for optional files, correct lance and halberd animations and labels.
Use CBBE 3BAV (no gap with 3BA) slides and weights, although any CBBE/3BA body can be used. It's not fun if you try to mix/match it with other armor. (I may address this issue in the future)
Also included is a modification of my character Pennelope, who acts as a follower and vendor to sell you gear if crafting isn't an option. (It’s expensive though, haha)
Pennelope:
legend:
story:
Penelope is a royal knight of the Kingdom of Alveden. While escorting the princess on a voyage, their ship was destroyed in a storm. However, she wakes up on the shoreline of Dawnstar. She found herself in a completely unfamiliar night sky and land. Separated from her friends and her country, with no way of return. She must find her purpose in a war-torn sky. Only her old world equipment and knowledge. She must find the purpose for which God brought her here. Is it possible that her compatriots from the voyage were here too? Will you help her find her purpose and maybe even help her get home? (Sorry, we don't have any plans other than role-playing.)
Arvedon Royal/Dark Knight:
Their seemingly lightweight clothing never fools you. What they lack in heavy armor, they make up for it in flexibility and powerful combat capabilities. They receive training in many weapons schools. The quality of workmanship of their chief blacksmith, Thomas Aurelius, bore no resemblance to Tamir's. Not only do the gears show great prestige, but the plating is extremely durable and able to withstand heavy blows.
Follower information:
Location: Dawnstar - Windpeak Hotel
Voice: Female Commander
Race: Empire
Category: CombatWarrior2H "Warrior"
Known Issues: (I may or may not fix it)
No health on weapons (for some reason they are permanently present or don't appear at all, so not mentioned in this release)
You may experience some clipping here and there. This may look more or less bad depending on the animation or pose. (I've spent hours trying to solve 99% of the cases, but some animations/poses are too extreme and stretch/collapse the mesh and there's nothing I can do.)
It could be a bug that I overlooked somewhere or something, please report it.
Incompatibilities:
Not compatible with the original mod as this is a complete remake. This does replace the original esp, so be prepared to get naked if you're updating. Other than regaining …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
