Adjust Cathedral weather and season for better ENB support; my Prismatic-based ENB preset (Soul Spectrum) is also available here.

  • Cathedral Weathers and Seasons is a great weather module, but it is not very suitable for ENB. Weather Mod has some conflicting features built into it, such as custom image pacing with huge variations in hue, brightness, saturation, and contrast. That's great if you're not using ENB; however, this will make it difficult to make ENB presets with a consistent and intended look since it will be up against the changing image space.

With the help of Armor Feathers, image space has been restored to basically neutral, with some minor exceptions... This is similar to how NAT and Obsidian image spaces are handled, and is a big reason why there are many amazing ENB presets for weather mods. This will also work fine without ENB, you may prefer a neutral image space as it will make Cathedral's in-game modifier settings more predictable and powerful.

Download and install Cathedral Weather and Seasons

Downloaded and installed My Cathedral Weather and Seasons remade for ENB and gave it priority/had my ESP overriding the original mod's ESP.

  • ) (optional) I've also provided a modified version of Nawor3565's "Improved Cathedral Weather for Rain and Fog" to support the changes, and also removed a feature of that mod that adjusted "cloudy" weather as they were with stormy or foggy weather, making cloudy weather too dark.

The plugin name has not been changed and you can simply completely replace the original and improved Rain and Fog mod in your current load order without problems. If you already have the original improved Rain and Fog mod installed, just uninstall and install mine!

  • (Optional) Finally, I've included the performance-friendly Prismatic-based ENB (Soul Spectrum), which has been rebuilt to support this modified version of Cathedral Weathers.

Recommended for use with my ENB

  • ELFX without enhancers or just with Relighting Skyrim will probably work best. It should be possible to use Photometric, ELE, Realistic Lighting Overhaul or Enhancer, but you may need to adjust the internal ENB brightness and saturation settings.

I use the new Realistic Waters 2; if the ENB water feature is enabled, the optional RWT ENB texture is required. You can also use Mindflux's ENB Waters mod instead of RWT. If you are not using ENB water enabled, it does not matter which water module you use.

-I used the cathedral landscape with the northern cathedral grass and majestic mountains (main version), but it should look good on any grass and mountain mod.

-ENB Light: Use a minimal installation instead of a full installation; you can enable any other optional features, but I don't recommend enabling the "Extra Lights" option.

-More lights from Rudy’s ENB series

-Rally's Blackreach Mushroom

-Inferno-Fire Effect Redux

-Winterhold statue - animated with ENB lights

4.) Fully compatible with "Different Seasons"

  • Cathedral Weathers and Seasons is a great weather mod, but it doesn't lend itself well to ENB.  The weather mod has some conflicting features built into it such as custom images paces with dramatically varied tints, brightness, saturation and contrast.  This is great if you're not using ENB; however, this makes it difficult to make an ENB preset that will have a consistent and intended look because it will be dueling with the varied image spaces.

With the help of Armored Feathers, the Image Spaces have been returned to mostly neutral with a few slight exceptions... This is similar to how NAT and Obsidian Images spaces are handled, and a contributing reason why there are many amazing ENB presets for …

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
