About this mod Machine translation
This is a port of the Skyrim mod "Carlotta Valentia - Happy Ending" (Skyrim mod #42318). The pattern states: "If you want to improve this, or if you use this in your own work or upload it to other websites or anywhere else, then please trust me." Or not, I'm just a block of text. Who is mine I tell you what to do". All credit goes to its creator: sicarius100. Well done sir.

Asking to marry Carlotta Valentia
- Complete the pursuit of Marriage Bonds, including talking to Maramal about Maram and Dai Maram's amulet.
- Solve the problem between Carlotta and the bard Mikael.
- Become Thane of Whiterun. (Thane is not necessarily required. See FAQ #1 below.)
- Let Carlotta marry you.
Adopt Mila Valentia's request
1.Marry Carlotta. You must have completed the wedding and chosen a home before the dialogue options appear.
Stayed in a vanilla house with available children's bed. This may or may not apply to family mode. Finally see QUESTON #5.
- Discuss the issue of adoption with Mila.
choose a home
After the wedding, you have to choose where you and Carlotta will live. Your choice will not only determine where you live, but also whether Mila can be adopted out of the box and which AI packages control Carlotta and Mila. You can choose to live in Carlotta's house, a vanilla house you already own, or a house you already own.
The easiest, most vanilla-friendly option is to go into a vanilla home you already own. This is the least likely option for running into problems later. Additionally, you should already have Breezehome, as asking to become Thane and asking Thane to marry Carlotta.
Choosing to live in Carlotta's house differs from vanilla marriage in that Carlotta and Mila continue to use their default AI package instead of the default spouse/daughter AI package. This option is more likely to encounter some minor issues, but I personally haven't encountered any. Because it's unique and different from vanilla marriage, this is my top choice. Additionally, with some workarounds, you can marry Carlotta and move into her home without purchasing a Breezehome or another home. This is probably the quickest way to marry Carlotta.
I wasn't able to adopt Mila when I lived in a house mod, but I've tested it very little. I have adopted Mila from a vanilla home and moved her to a house with no issues. I'd love feedback on how other home mods are working so I can update this page.
While this mod uses some little scripting of its own, it uses the game's default marriage and adoption process. This greatly reduces potential conflicts with other mods.

Option 1: Choose to live in a Breeze home you already own (Breezehome, Proudspire, etc.).
*You will immediately choose to adopt Mila.
- Carlotta and Mila will no longer use their default AI. Instead, they will use the default spouse/daughter AI.
*If you use Improved Adoption (mod #4713), Carlotta and Mila (if you adopt her) will use that mod's timeline.
*If you do not adopt Mila, she will continue to live in Carlotta's home but will visit her mother frequently.
If you live in Breezehome and use the Improved Adoptions mod, Carlotta will visit Whiterun Market every day from 11am to 1pm. She won't stand behind her position because I feel like it's not her position anymore. However, she will still occasionally shout out her regular comments like "Fresh vegetables!" I didn't notice her yelling while living in other cities. I role play because it's still her position, but now she's just supervising for a few hours instead of working all day. One of the many benefits of marrying a Dragonborn.
This is the most vanilla-friendly option and least likely to run into problems later.
Option 2: Choose to live in Carlotta's home.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
