Camelot - Norwegian Forest Cat Mod (WIP)
What does this mod do?
This mod will add Norwegian Forest Cats (also known as Skogkatts and Wegies) to Skyrim SE.
These beautiful turfs will:
winding
sit
lie down
Take a nap
bath
Track and track invisible things (maybe ghosts, demons or some tiny dust)
Why Choose Norwegian Forest Cat?
The Norwegian Forest Cat is the most killer and immersive cat you can get.
They are sturdy, hardy and built for snow.
They pulled off Freya's chariot in Norse saga and took her to a Viking ship as the Rat Hand.
Having my own Norwegian Forest Cat definitely makes me want to put her in the game.
They're huge, fluffy snow cats, do you really need any more reasons?
What is the name of the camel?
Camelot is the name of my Norwegian Forest Cat and it seemed fitting to put her name on the mod since the model is based on her.
Mod progress:
The model was updated with more details (eyes, mouth) in preparation for adding textures. (June 16, 2020)
Rough model created (June 11, 2020)

Camelot - A Norwegian Forest Cat Mod (WIP)
What does this mod do?
This mod will add Norwegian Forest Cats (also called Skogkatts and Wegies) to Skyrim SE.
These beautiful floofs will:
meander around
sit
lay down
nap
bathe
track and chase after things you can't see (probably a ghost, demon, or some villainous speck of dust)
Why Norwegian Forest Cats?
Norwegian Forest Cats are the most lore-friendly and immersive cat you can get.
They're strong, hardy, and built for the snow.
They pulled Freya's chariot in Norse legend, and were brought on Viking ships as mousers.
Owning my own Norwegian Forest Cat definitely made me want to put her in the game.
They're giant, fluffy snow cats, do you really need any more reason?
What's with the name Camelot?
Camelot is the name of my Norwegian Forest Cat, and it only seemed fitting to put her name on the mod, since the model is based off of her.
Mod Progress:
Model updated with more detail (eyes, mouth) to prep for adding textures. (16 June 2020)
Rough Model created (11 June 2020)
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
