If you are wearing Ebony Mail when installing this tool, unequip and then reequip it.
The 'Complete Alchemy and Cooking Overhaul' mod has a bug where the Ebony Lock's poison robe effect stops working if the wearer is a vampire/undead or has 100% poison resistance or immunity. I've posted a bug report, but until it's resolved, I made a fix for myself and shared it with anyone who might need it. Tagged ESL. Obviously, load it after CACO.

The Complete Alchemy and Cooking Overhaul mod has a bug where the Ebony Mail's poison cloak effect stops working if the wearer is a vampire/undead or has 100% poison resistance or immunity. I've posted a bug report but until it gets fixed I made a fix for myself and I'm sharing it with everyone who might need it. Flagged as an ESL. Load it after CACO, obviously.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
