Are you tired of Nazeem bragging about Cloud Zone?

Do you think Maven Black Briar needs vigilante justice?

Are you tired of Heimskr trying to force his religion down?

Ban Hammer is for you!

The Ban Hammer is a customizable standalone weapon with custom meshes and custom textures.

Upon striking an enemy, the Forbidden Hammer will eliminate your enemy from existence in one almighty swing.

If an enemy is marked as essential, you will be shown a quick dialog asking if you are sure

You want to ban them and select Cancel. This is to avoid accidentally killing necessary personnel that you don't realize are necessary.

Insubstantial NPCs will be knocked down effortlessly.

The hammer uses an improved version of the Banish Daedra enchantment.

The new enchantment will kill, disable and then remove actor references while also providing

Exile Daedra special effect (purple portal).

A "RECKLESS" version has also been uploaded for those who want to let go, in this version the menu options will be removed and all

The NPC is essential and will be removed immediately.

The only safe NPCs are those marked "invincible" (children and some ghosts).

I'm working on a fix for this.

Also, using the "Killable Children" mod should remove the invincibility mark, so the Ban Hammer should take care of it as well.

I will test this and confirm.

Warning: If you haven't figured it out yet, this weapon will disable and delete NPCs hit by it.

If used recklessly, this can confuse the task.

This mod is just for fun, it is strictly OP and not recommended for legal saving.

I'm not responsible for messing up their game by killing essential NPCs.

Hammers can be crafted at any forge with the appropriate privileges (Daedric Forge) simply by installing the Mod Manager of your choice.

Alternatively, you can use the console command Player.Additem xx000800 1 (xx is the loading order of mods).

Alternatively, you can use one of my killer item distribution modules:

Odds and Goals - Modified Item Merchant

These mods work in a similar way, providing new ways to distribute modified items into the game. (Seriously, please check this out!)

Credit goes to Ghosu for providing the weapon meshes and base textures.

I've modified the texture based on it.

Permissions are clearly marked on his mod page as granting free use.

Also a huge thanks to Ghostifish at Discord Connections for helping me out with some scripting issues I was having.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
