Make Leaf Rest a home available for purchase.
-=Requires Leaf Rest SSE v1.5 with Mnikjom and Aukmat or T'Skyrim-Riverwood with Leaf Rest v1.9 =-
I made this patch for the famous Leaf Rest house mod, aimed at people like me who like to buy real estate with hard-earned Septims.
describe:
This mod makes the Leaf Rest SSE available for purchase at home by removing the key from the mailbox and giving it to Lucan Valerius at Riverwood Trader. The key's price is set at 3000 gold, but varies depending on your speaking skills (since keys are sold as miscellaneous), and if you don't speak the price can be over 9000 gold. I set it pretty low because I imagine you'll get to Riverwood pretty early so the price goes up with the voice and then goes down later, but please let me know if you think it should be adjusted.
I have placed a Notice of Sale in the mailbox with keys in hand detailing that the home has been seized and Lucan is processing its purchase. Both the Leaf Rest's front door and the basement door should already be locked, but I noticed that if you spawn in Riverwood, the doors may be unlocked. This seems to be an issue with the original mod, so if you somehow started with Riverwood you can just ignore it.
compatibility:
The original mod may have the same conflict. May also conflict with any mod that edits the Lucan Valerius npc (ID: 0001347A).
Install:
This is a replacement esp, so overwrite "LeafRest OnePiece.esp" or "T'Skyrim Riverwood with Leaf Rest.esp" with my version. Also install the Scripts folder that contains DarkFox script files. Place them in the Data folder or use the mod manager like you would any other mod.
integral:
Thanks to Mnikjom and Aukmat for the excellent Leaf Rest SSE house mod (and T'Skyrim-Riverwood for the Leaf Rest).
This mod uses the PM_Script_BuyKey script from DarkFox127's Project Modularity resources. Want to make your favorite house model available for purchase? Follow his guide here! :

I made this patch for the famous Leaf Rest house mod, for those like myself who prefer to use their hard-earned Septims to purchase their real estate.
Description:
This mod makes the Leaf Rest SSE home purchasable, by removing the key from the mailbox and giving it to Lucan Valerius at the Riverwood Trader. The price of the key is set at 3000 gold, but varies depending on your speech skills (due to the fact that the key is sold as a misc item) and can be over 9000 gold if you have no Speech. I set it fairly low because I figured you get to Riverwood early on so the price will be high with your low Speech, then it will be cheaper later on, but let me know if you think it's should be adjusted.
I've placed a Notice of Sale where the key was in the mailbox, detailing that the house has been seized and Lucan is handling its purchase. The front door of Leaf Rest should already be locked, as well as the basement door, but I've noticed that if you spawn into Riverwood that the doors might be unlocked. This seems to be an issue with the original mod so you'll just have to ignore that if you start in Riverwood somehow.
Compatibility:
Same conflicts that the original mods may have. May also conflict with any mod that edits the Lucan Valerius npc (ID: 0001347A).
Installation:
This is a replacer esp, so just overwrite the "LeafRest OnePiece.esp" or "T'Skyrim Riverwood with Leaf Rest.esp" with my version. Also install the Scripts folder which include DarkFox's script files. Drop them in your Data folder or use your mod manager, just like any other mod.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
