Bronze shine disappears
This is a simple alternative to the now-discontinued No More Ugly Bronze Glow mod, designed to provide a more neutral tone in low-light conditions that will suit all skin tones.
Install
Download and install using the Mod Manager, or just manually extract the contents into your main Skyrim folder
Uninstall
Uninstall using NMM or, if installing manually, simply delete the files manually.
notes
This mod is intended as a universal option to remove shine/gloss from characters, regardless of which body mesh or texture is used. However, some body and texture mods already have proper and complete subsurface scattering maps optimized for Skyrim Special Edition, in which case it is highly recommended to use these maps instead of this mod.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
