Yes, SKSE is required

Build your own Breezehome

Do you like Breezehome but wish it had an arcane enchanter and library? Or have you ever wanted a secret room to store and display all Thieves Guild items and Barenziah's Stones? Maybe you want a smith with a massive display of weapons and a display of armor? Or just a place to put your beer? Or an elaborate museum displaying your dragon claws, dragon priest masks, and other trinkets from the game?

Then this mod is for you.

Please note: This residence requires SKSE (Skyrim Script Extender).

If your bookshelf, monitor, etc. doesn't work, make sure you have SKSE installed.

New features in version 1.11

Upgrade Warning: Before updating this mod to version 1.11, please remove all books from the bookshelf and staff and save your character with your character outside of Breezehome. Failure to do so may result in you losing your books/staves and may cause some functionality to glitch.

Version 1.11 includes:

Correction to utilization of single object bookshelf

Other decorations for Bathing RoomSpoiler: Display

A cabinet that allows you to quickly uninstall and re-equipped the bathroom for bathing

Ladle rack above the cooking pot (added for Dancing Hosklund so he can more easily use the Crafting Needs Tools module)

New version 1.1

Upgrade warning: Some changes between versions 1.03 and 1.1 include container changes and bookshelf modifications. It is strongly recommended that you remove all books from your bookshelf before upgrading (otherwise, your books will be dumped entirely).

Also, when upgrading an existing game, be sure to start outside Breezehome so that certain objects (bookshelf and monitor) have a chance to automatically adjust their position if necessary.

Additionally, the following projects had to be rebuilt: "MS: Dagger Display Case" and "MS: Display Case for Mage" (due to some changes). Sorry about that.

Version 1.1 includes:

Automatic Storage Activator - With just one click, some containers will automatically fetch all items of a specific type (except collection items, equipment items, and mission items) and add them to the storage container.

Spoiler: Show

Storage Configuration - Configure storage using the Whiterun signage on the mantle. You can add items to certain storage containers to get them automatically, or set the containers to take all or just 1 of each type of item.

Spoiler: Show

Bath room - rub dub. Cleaned up in the new shower room (just next to the Wood Chopping Block).

Spoiler: Show

Navigation Mesh Fixes - The final fix to prevent your followers from running out the door at all the damn time (door willing). Hopefully this will solve the problem of adopted kids disappearing all the time, but I haven't actually adopted any of these little guys so I'm afraid you'll have to test it out for yourself.

Updated Bookshelf - Bookshelf updated to use the functionality of my new mod, Single Object Bookshelf (which allows the model builder to just treat the bookshelf as a single object instead of fiddling with triggers, activators, book markers, etc.)

New Staff Holder - New branding for staves (based on the Single Object Bookshelves mod)

Spoiler: Show

Glassless Dagger Display - No more looking at that dagger display case and wondering what a dagger looks like until you get there. Now, the dagger just lies there at an angle, allowing you to see it in all its glory.

warn:

If you load this model and notice walls that have disappeared, beds that have disappeared or moved, or random furniture moved to places it shouldn't, try moving BYOBreezehome in the loading order. I've gotten a few re …

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
