About this mod Machine translation

This mod adds a tower with two guest beds to the Breezehome. The tower also has a charming corner. The decoration of the main house has changed slightly.

3298/5000 Requires: Skyrim SE, updates, Hearthfires add-on.

This modification adds a BYOH style tower to Breezehome. The tower is ready and belongs to the house when you buy it, but the bedrooms are unfurnished. Buy furniture for your own bedroom and the room will be furnished.

The first and second levels of the tower are small guest spaces with single beds for your followers, while the third level houses the enchantment table. If you choose the Alchemy Lab in the downstairs annex, you'll get a smaller living space in the trim room. If you choose to convert your alchemy room into a child's bedroom, the living area will become a small alchemy table.

The main house underwent some minor visual changes, but the layout of the house remained unchanged. Nowadays, most common furniture is upper floor furniture (including everyone's bed), carpets are plentiful, and homes are generally tidier (and perhaps more stylish) than before. When you purchase the dining area you will also redo the alchemy room/kids room floors. You will find a fire pit that is completely safe in your bedroom. It will never burn down a house!

I only used vanilla assets for the towers and houses. As a result, the house changes with your textures and lighting patterns. Apropos, I added a few light sources in the house, most of them omnidirectional and with a small radius.

After so many Breezehome overhauls, why make another version?

I made this mod for myself, specifically to be used with the "Legacy of the Dragonborn" -mod. I'm just dragging everything I find to a museum anyway, so I guess I want a house that doesn't even try to display my finds. All I want is a friend's bed. Normally there can only be two people at a time, so I booked two beds. The Double Master can serve as an extra role in an emergency. I originally planned to make the room more personalized, but ultimately I decided to go with a light theme and a dark theme that anyone could use. (Kicked Lydster out of the lower room. She seemed to like it there. Convenient or something like that. After I spruced up her room as much as I could since she's the one who spends the most time in Breezehome! Into her own bed, Lydia.)

Breezehome itself is a fairly modest place and I wish it stayed that way. It does belong in Thane though, so should, in my opinion, be a step above your average farmhouse. I wanted to tidy it up and make it more stylish. I don't think the original Breezehome felt as homely as it could have. There were also things I couldn't understand, like the raw potatoes on the bedroom table...

I chose not to include an oven or other BYOH-like things because I think they belong in a larger, grander home. I wish I had a reason to build a fire house or download a house model. I wanted a trendy look but in a simple house. I also kept the furniture I purchased, including the guest room and the top of the tower, because I thought it would be fun to look at the house filled with stuff.

If you agree with me on some points, your Dovahkiin might also enjoy this version of Breezehome. :)——————————————————————————————————————————

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
