About this mod Machine translation
Port of Oldrim by vagonumero12. The Lord of Intrigue and the Goddess of Destruction gives you a new mission after you slew her previous champion. could have a major impact on the future of the sky.
This is a port of Oldrim's LSD. All credit goes to him. It allows setting a port on the Oldrim file page. The description below is copy-pasted, but with some minor edits to reflect the port (e.g. stating that it requires USSEP instead of USLEEP, etc.).
This mod restores Botia's bid requirements, which Bethesda had partially implemented in the game files. Missions are expressed entirely in the language of your Horizon device.
How to start exploring:
-Start a new game. This mode requires a new save file to work properly. Even installing on a first-level save file may prevent parts of the mission from working properly.
Under no circumstances should you install this mod on a character level 30 or above, as the quest behavior may be completely wrong.
-Continue your game until level 30. At this level, the call of Boethiah is already beginning in the background. Usually a Boethiah culturalist will catch up with you with a "Boethiah's Proof" book. If it takes too much time, just find a book and read it.
-Complete "Boethiah's Call" as usual. This time, at the end of the mission, Boethiah's dialogue will be different: Boethiah's Bid will begin.
Required:
- Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition patch
Conflicts with other MODS:
-Incompatible with Mod "The Choice Is Yours". This incompatibility is critical and there is currently no workaround.
-Changing the way Boethiah is summoned might be incompatible anyway.
- Various incompatibilities with Mod Civil War Overhaul. Upload Note: The original Oldrim version had a patch for CWO, but I haven't been able to find the CWO for SSE and I haven't had time to update the patch to reflect any changes in CWO, so unless someone else updates the patch, the mods are not compatible.
bug report:
When reporting bugs, issues, or impacts to others, it will be helpful to know which side of the Civil War your character is on (or not at all), as well as the status of the main quest. Please do not report a bug if you do not have the mod installed on the new save, or if you use console commands to advance the mission.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
