About this mod Machine translation

This is just a simple new library for players who enjoy collecting and displaying books. It has added a new small library outside Whiterun next door to Pelagia Farm.

In my extensive search for libraries to add to my game, I couldn't find one that I was looking for. So decided to do it myself. This is the first mod I've created myself. I've tested it thoroughly and found no bugs.

What I want is a simple library to store and display all the books collected throughout the game. I found about a half dozen mods that did this, but they all had a bunch of extra stuff that I didn't want, or were in places in the story that took a while to get to.

This mod has no extra NPCs, buggy auto-sorting functionality, vendors, etc... It's also placed in an accessible place early in the story line, right when you reach Whiterun.

I hope everyone enjoys it. Feel free to support and comment. If you find errors please let me know.

It should be fully compatible with everything, unless you have a mod that adds items to the same land occupied by the building.

feature:

13 three-shelf movable bookshelves that can hold more than 600 books

4 power-labeled boxes for storing recipes, scrolls, journals and notes

Follower friendly, so your followers can join you in the sandbox of the place

Map markers with fast travel capabilities

Coc tags for passing through the console, (coc collectorslibrary)

Every item is placed by hand, along with some food items and a set of leather armor

All built from scratch using the Skyrim master file resources, so you don't need any other mods to work

The screenshots were taken along with various other texture mods that I use in the game, so your view will reflect the textures you have installed, or the vanilla textures if you're not using texture mode.

I also used Obsidian Weathers + Re-Engaged ENB in the screenshot

If you like my mod, please don't forget to give it a thumbs up, thank you.

Some mods I use that work well with this:

Pre-order a cover of Skyrim

Unread books glow

Infinite bookshelf

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
