About this mod Machine translation
This is a BodySlide plugin that allows you to use a series of keyboard/keyboard keys to: 1) adjust the view in the preview window, and 2) modify the slider in the BodySlide window. There are no prerequisites required except for BodySlide, which works independently of the size or position of the preview window. Create using automatic hotkeys.
I wrote and compiled an automatic hotkey script that allows you to use hotkeys (mainly from the number pad) in BodySlide.
Includes source code and documentation, but not other assets. Compatible with mod managers.
When the script is running, the automatic hotkey icon will appear in the tray area; when you exit BodySlide, it will automatically close.
Install
First download and install BodySlide for SSE from here:
Then just extract the file "bodyslidecam.exe" into the bodyslide directory (it must be the same directory as bodyslide x64.exe).
Always start bodyslide using "bodyslidecam.exe" which will automatically start the bodyslide x64 executable as part of a script.
Launch BodySlide, open the preview window, and start adjusting entities faster than ever before :-)
usage
Hotkeys control the "Preview" or "Main" BodySlide window (depending on which window is active).
Use ctrl+numcenter to switch from one to the other, or just use the mouse. Most hotkeys use the numeric keypad.
See PDF cheat sheet and screenshots for picture guidance.
(Before you ask: yes, this of course works with the naked body! This utility does not modify BodySlide in any way. I use NeverNude screenshots to avoid flagging this utility as having adult content).

Anticipated FAQs
Does this only apply to Skyrim Special Edition? Does it work with Skyrim le's BodySlide/Fallout4's BodySlide?
I only have Skyrim SSE so I can't test others, but I don't see why this approach shouldn't work with other BodySlide incarnations.
Possible warning: This script launches the executable bodyslide x64.exe and expects certain window titles ("preview" and "bodyslide"). It may need slight modification, source code is provided and comments are made.
How does it work?
The BodySlide window can only be controlled with the mouse. Hotkeys actually press the left or right mouse button and drag the mouse
Vector, which simulates user input. The "View" and "Focus" commands take advantage of a specific aspect of BodySlide: closing and reopening the preview window always resets it to the defined "front" view. This provides a fixed initial position! Then just perform specific mouse movements to achieve the desired direction. The reason it works for any window size is because the mouse drag vector is not absolute, but defined relative to the window height and widt …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
