New version of Blue Palace
Hello everyone! This is the pattern I have been working on overall. At first it was for my own use but it got so big I decided to share :D
First of all, I want to thank Zebsi for helping me with all the scripts and for being patient with coding :D You should check out his page and his mods (minor spoiler: there's a cool one coming :D)
I recommend you complete the Wabbajack quest before installing it, because I changed the location of the room and I don't know if it will work for you (it worked fine for me, but it's better to be safe). Also, make sure to back up your saves in case of any installation issues.
This mod transforms the interior of the Blue Palace, giving it a layout that matches the architecture seen outside and making it look more palatial (seriously, Bethesda was very lazy when creating this castle).
•The throne has been centralized (problem solved haha)
•Renovated lobby
- New wing with room for the exiled jarl (if you fight for Stormcloaks)
- New bedroom for followers
•A new dining room replaces the kitchen; the kitchen itself has been expanded and moved elsewhere.
•Added a swimming pool in the basement
•New war room complete with mannequins and weapons racks
- New treasure room with a secret passage through which you can enter the dock (the key is in the power box on the table)
•Renovate main room
•Moved Sybille and Falk's bedroom to another corner of the palace
- Enter the palace as a player after winning the Tempest War or marrying Elisif
•Mods that change the interior of the palace, such as The Kids are Alright Episode 3 (adds 3 beds for kids) may not be compatible
- Enhanced Light FX: Download a patch for it.
•NPC Replacer mods: Minor incompatibility; I added thanes and Elisif's packs for the new parts of the palace. If you have black faces on them, you will need to put any replacer mods you use after this mod in your load order.
- Any mods edited inside Blue Palace will not be compatible
•Everything else should be compatible.
These mods inspired me to start this project and they improve the game a lot:
•Proudspire Manor TNF - Hearthfire by goatk
- Lake view pool and hot tub for Hearthfire by sa547
•Solitude Public Bathhouse in Zuzmoo
Zebsi for script code
Battle Towel for Vanilla-EVB by radbeetle
(His and Hers) Battle Towel - CBBE - CBBEPhy - BodySlide - Men by Derpsdale
(This was originally for Fallout 4 but I ported it to Skyrim and restructured it

Hey guys! Here's a mod I've been working on for a whole. It was for my own use at first, but it was getting so big that I decided to share:D

This mod overhauls the Blue Palace's interior, giving it a layout that matches the building as seen from the outside, and making it look, well, altogether more palace-like (seriously, Bethesda was so lazy when they created this castle).
- Throne has been centered (ocd problem solved haha)
- Refurbished hall
- New wing with rooms for exiled jarls (in case you fight for the Stormcloaks)
- New bedroom for followers
- New dining room in place of the kitchen; kitchen itself has been expanded and moved elsewhere.
- Added a pool in the basement
- New war room with mannequins and weapon racks
- New treasure room with secret passage through which you can access the docks (The key is in the strong box on the table)
- Refurbished the main room
- Moved Sybille and Falk's bedrooms to a different part of …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
