[introduce]
Like many of you, I've been playing Skyrim since the original version. I've created countless characters over time, some of which have grown on me so quickly that I wish I could take them with me to a new play. There was a mod like this in the 2011 version of Skyrim, but since I moved to Special Edition I've been running around without them. This makes me sad. So I started CK, followed some tutorials, wrote some articles, and here I am.
This is a personal project, mostly to learn how to use CK better, and I didn't plan on uploading it in the first place, but I thought I'd share since that's exactly what we do here. So if you want it, here you go. You can download it or not.
[Require]
Let's get this straight first. you need to;
Fangs and eyes - a vampiric appearance
Half of these characters are vampires. That's how I would describe their neat eyes and fangs. I could ask for permission to use these assets, but I don't want to. After all, I made it for myself and I'm just uploading it here in case anyone wants to give it a try. Without it it won't work since the file is set as the main file.
However, if you're familiar with CK and TESVEdit, I'm sure you can edit these out and rebuild facegens. Very simple.
ApachiiSkyHair SSE
Most characters use Apache fur. I don't want to package the assets or ask for permission to use them. Also, most of you already have this module installed.
If these things are a deal breaker, then, I guess you'll have to settle for a relationship with many other better follower mods. Might as well try this. I use it too.
Maybe give Inigo a try as well, since this is easily the best relationship in follower mode.
[Perseverance]
This mode adds 10 characters from my past as followers to the game, one for each default race. As far as interactions go, they're pretty generic as they just use the default follower dialogue and whatnot, but if you want to get to know them better, I've given each character a journal for you to read, which will give you an idea of their past without telling you everything.
Each of the 11 journals adds up to a coherent story that ties all the characters together in some way. I'm by no means a brilliant writer, so don't expect Steven King or George R.R. Martin. That being said, you'll find some magazines to be quite dark, while others you might find tacky, and at least one reads like a terrible romance novel. But hey, I gotta think of something. If nothing else, all journals are skill books, so they do have some practical use for those not interested in reading.
As for stats and what not, they all have extra combat and convenience. Mages use their own custom spells in addition to some vanilla spells, and have some unique equipment, each with appropriate workout recipes. None of them can be disillusioned or sold, so don't get any funny ideas.
I'm not going to lie to you, they are strong. I lowered their base level from 40 to 10 and they are still pretty tough and this is their base equipment. I recommend you play the game on Legendary difficulty. That's what I've been playing and what they've tested. Some difficult mods may also help, and I highly recommend the Immersive Stunning Follower tweaks so you can customize them to your liking if all else fails.
EDIT: By 1.4, the companions are already a bit nerdy, although you may not notice how much depending on which mod you use.
Beyond that, they all have sandbox AI, faction data, relationship data, and a few can marry. Those who cannot marry (with one of the other followers), or do not have compatible voices, allow it.
See below for details.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
