About this mod Machine translation

Port of holiday themed store from Oldrim to SSE by Jokerine. Adds a new store with Halloween themed decorations.

This is a port of Bloody Tankard, from original Skyrim to SSE's Jokerine. All credits go to her for designing and implementing this mod. Many thanks for allowing open permissions to make this possible. The original mod can be found here:

-------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------- ---.esp has been run through CK and saved in form 44. No cleaning is required since Jokerine uses TE5Edit to do it herself.

Almost a simple conversion from Oldrim to SSE, I checked all meshes and textures using NifOptimizer and made them compatible. Since this is a port, this mod is provided as-is and will not receive any support from Jokerine. She has retired from modding and does not plan to update any of her mods anytime soon. Please keep in mind that this store may conflict with some content in the same area as another mod installed in the game. Any conflicts can usually be resolved using xEdit or CK. I can provide limited support and I test it in game to make sure it works.

IMPORTANT!!! According to Jokerine from the Oldrim page, she specifically states that this mod is incompatible with mods The Evil Mansion - Final Edition and Creepy Zombies. These have been converted into special editions by the original authors and can be found here:

Evil Mansion - Definitive Edition

Creepy zombie

Before installing this mod, make sure Mansion is not installed. You can install the Zombie mod, but Jokerine warns that zombies will spawn in the area where the house is. I'll leave that decision up to the players. I don't use creepy zombies, so I'm not sure what will happen if you leave the Zombie mod with Bloody Tankard. Players can comment and confirm compatibility issues in the post section.

If you're not sure, I would recommend LOOT to sort this out in your load order. If you've been modifying for a while, use the placement that makes the most sense for the best loading order.

Here is the description of Jokerine from the Oldrim page:

-------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------- ---

Bloody Tankard is located in the swamps near Morthal. There is a map mark from the beginning, and merchants here work around the clock, selling packaged sweets and other food, some table decorations, candles, books and clothes for you to dress up or keep in your home.

The food has the usual vanilla effect and I'm afraid I'm not going to make a patch for the demand model. The candles also don't emit light, although they have an animated flame wick. I try to keep the prices fair and suitable for people with lots of friends or family to give candy to!

This is a great showcase of modding by insane0hflex! Thanks!

To uninstall, just delete the files in the Data folder and you're done.

compatibility:

The collision of some of the new items is a little clunky. Also, since this is Skyrim we're talking about, my items tend to pop out and jump around when you put them too close to each other, to other things, or when they're touched by NPCs or players. Unfortunately there is nothing I can do.

The mod should be compatible with anything unless there is a mod there that changes the store's location. Clashed with The Evil Mansion mod, which added a mansion to the same location, and the Creepy Zombies mod, which spawne …

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
