About this mod Machine translation
Simplified Chinese translation of Blood Soul.
Original address:
Born on the icy shores of Southam, bloody walruses are more predatory versions of their mainland cousins.
They hunt by extending their long fleshy beaks in their mouths: they use their long siphon-like beaks to suck small prey such as fish and crabs, and bite them with their long teeth. Larger prey, including the occasional Nord, will be stabbed by their fangs and drained of their blood, hence the name of this evil creature.
(The following are the author's words, don't get me wrong, I use the first-person perspective)
reason?
This mod adds a new creature: the Bloody Walrus.
As part of the Blood Moon Creature Restoration Project, the Bloody Walrus was designed to improve lore consistency between The Elder Scrolls V DLC: Dragonborn and The Elder Scrolls III DLC: Blood Moon. Both DLCs take place on the island of Southam. However, many unique creatures in Blood Moon have disappeared or been replaced by common creatures in Skyrim.
My goal is to solve this problem!
Function:
- All walruses on Southam Island have been replaced with bloody walruses.
- Unique walruses on Walrus Island are given unique skins.
- Except for worldspace and the only unique walrus that was changed, no other vanilla records have been modified, so this mod should be generally compatible with other mods.
- Modifications to the properties and behavior of ordinary walruses (through SkyTEST, for example) will also be inherited to my walrus.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
