About this mod Machine translation
Blood Terrors are more predatory versions of their mainland cousins, native to the icy shores of Sostium. It uses a fleshy snout that protrudes from its mouth to hunt prey, both large and small. This mod aims to improve lore consistency between Tes5:Dragonborn DLC and Tes3:Bloodmoon DLC.
Blood Terrors are more predatory versions of their mainland cousins, native to the icy shores of Sostium.
They use the fleshy proboscis that protrudes from their mouths for food: small prey like fish and crabs are sucked up through the siphon-shaped proboscis and then bitten by the Hawk's teeth. Larger prey, including the occasional Nord, are pierced by the Hawk's tusks and drained of their blood, thus giving the evil creature its name.
This mod adds a new creature: the Blood Horcrux.
Why?
As part of the Blood Moon Creature Restoration Project, Blood Souls was designed to improve lore consistency between Tes 5: Dragonborn DLC and Tes 3: Bloodmoon DLC.
Both DLCs are set on the island of Sostium, however many of the unique creatures seen in Blood Moon have either disappeared or been replaced by common Skyrim creatures.
My goal is to solve this problem!
(Also, it's December, so maybe I just want to do Christmas colors.)
feature
-All terrorists on Solsium Island have been replaced by blood terrorists.
-The unique Hawk on Hawke Island is given a unique skin.
-No ordinary records have been edited except for Worldspace references and unique horkers, so this should be almost universally compatible.
- Any changes to horker stats or behavior (via skytest, etc.) will be inherited by my horkers for consistency.
This 25 second teaser video isn't very informative, but at least you can see them animated! This is my first video so please don't waste too much time on it ;)
technology
Install as usual (use the mod manager, or unzip the files into your data folder).
Requires Dragonborn DLC.
Loading order: after any large creature mods, like sic (although this probably doesn't matter).

Blood Horkers are a more predatory version of their mainland cousins, native to Solstheim's icy shores.
They use the fleshy proboscis that extends from their mouths for feeding: Small prey such as fish and crab are sucked up through the siphon-like proboscis and mauled by the horker's teeth. Larger prey, including the occasional Nord, are impaled by the horker's long tusks and drained of blood, earning the foul creature its name.
This mod adds a new creature: the Blood Horker.
Why?
The Blood Horker was designed to improve lore consistency between the TES5: Dragonborn DLC and the TES3: Bloodmoon DLC, as part of the Bloodmoon Creature Restoration Project.
Both DLCs are set on the island of Solstheim, yet many of the unique creatures seen in Bloodmoon have disappeared or been replaced by generic Skyrim creatures.
I aim to fix that!

Features
-All horkers on Solstheim have been replaced with Blood Horkers.
-The unique horker on Horker Island has been given a unique skin.
-Other than the worldspace references and the one unique horker, no vanilla records have been edited, so this should be nearly universally compatible.
-Any changes to horker stats or behavior (by SkyTEST etc) will be inherited by my horkers for consistency.
This 25-sec teaser video isn't very informative, but at least you can see them animated! It's my first video ever so please don't trash on it too hard;)

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
