Ever wanted to use those flashy kendos with weapons other than just two-handed swords? Now you can use these edited scripts!
describe:
Ever wanted to use those flashy kendos with weapons other than two-handed swords?
Thanks to elysees for allowing me to redo some of their scripts, both FreeStyle Katana Kustom and BerserkStyle Blade Kustom now work:
one handed sword
one handed dagger
One-handed ax/hammer
two handed sword
Two handed ax/hammer
Dual-wield any combination of melee weapons
Like the original mod, these spells enhance melee power attacks and will cause them to create slash trails that deal AoE damage to enemies around you.
When dual-wielding, both weapons generate their own slashes.
The damage is scaled by your one-handed skill or your two-handed skill, whichever is higher.
Not usable when unarmed (as slamming should not cause the enemy to be whipped).
Added a small amount of screen shaking effect for more impact.
Added Special Attack: When performing the Sprint power attack (requires Critical Charge perk to unlock), 5 consecutive slashes will be created, similar to the Quick Slash mod.
How to install?
Install any original Mod (FreeStyle Katana Kustom, BerserkStyle Blade Kustom) through elysees. I recommend using just one, but it's possible to run both at the same time.
Overwrite BerserkStyle's BskAbilityBerserkStylishScript.pex or FreeStyle's FreeStyleQuestScript.pex (located in the "Scripts" subfolder of the respective mod) with the files from this mod. If physically replaced or just backup the original file using MO
cut off
notes:
With the exception of the Oldrim version of Freerim, the SE port was designed for the VANILLA two-handed sword animation, which was not aligned with the actual blade's trajectory when using other weapon animations.
Also note that Freestyle is designed for weapon speed mult 1.4

Description:
Ever wanted to use those flashy sword slashes with weapons other than Two-Handed Swords?
Thanks to elysees allowing me to rework some of their scripts, both FreeStyle Katana Kustom and BerserkStyle Blade Kustom will now work with:
One-handed Swords
One-handed Daggers
One-handed Axes/Maces
Two-handed Swords
Two-handed Axes/Hammers
Dual Wielding any combination of melee weapons
As with the original mods, these spells empower your Melee Power Attacks and will cause them to create slash trails that do AoE damageto enemies around you.
When dual wielding, both weapons will create their own slashes.
The damage scales with your Onehanded skill or Twohanded skill, whichever is higher.
NOT usable while unarmed (because punches should not result in your enemy being slashed).
Added a small amount of screenshake for a more impactful feel.
Special Attack added: When doing a Sprint Power Attack (need "Critical Charge" Perk to unlock), 5 Consecutive Slashes will be created, similar to the "Rapid Slash" mod.
How to install?
Install either of the original Mods ( FreeStyle Katana Kustom, BerserkStyle Blade Kustom) by elysees. I recommend using only ONE, but it's possible to run both at the same time.
Overwrite BskAbilityBerserkStylishScript.pex for BerserkStyle or FreeStyleQuestScript.pex for FreeStyle (located within the "scripts" subfolder of the respective mod) with the files from this mod. Make backups of the original files if physically replacing, or just use MO

Notes:
Other than the Oldrim version of FreeStyle, the SE port was designed for VANILLA TWO-HANDED SWORD ANIMATIONS and will look misaligned with the actual blade's trajectory when using other weapon animations.
Also note that Freestyle was designed for use with weaponspeedmult 1.4

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
