describe
I really like the Blacksmith Forge Water Restorer, but I never liked the compatibility factor required. Moving existing forgings or adding new ones always requires patches to regulate water volume. I would like a patch that would explain the current loading sequence and put all the water exactly where it needs to go. So I ended up creating an xEdit script to do just that!
I've provided a simplified version of the blacksmith's forge water esp with water and a fix for Skyforge in Whiterun (I haven't patched it for Skyforges yet). Pair this with the xEdit script and you get blacksmith forge water for all forges, including some areas that have never had a compatibility patch installed before.
Install
The loading order of the provided ESPs does not matter. Move the xEdit script into the xEdit scripts folder and run xEdit. Make sure to load every mod, just in case. When running the script, you can create a new file or use an existing file (I recommend creating a new file). It will create the patch and add all the water to the forge and you are done!
You can recreate the patch at any time. I haven't tested the remaster patch mid-game yet. Do so at your own risk.
Known issues
I don't know yet
Please note that I am not well versed in Pascal and this is actually my first attempt at creating a script.
compatibility
Realistic Water Two - RWT has its own version of the water fix. I've created a patch that will disable that water so that once you create your patch, my patch will take over. I also recommend that you have RWT's Blacksmith Water Repair Mesh overlay the mesh I included. Otherwise, the water will have no dirt layer.

Description
I really like the Blacksmith Forge Water Fix, but I never liked the compatibility factor required. Moving existing forges or adding in new forges always required a patch to adjust the water. I wanted a single patch that accounted for my current load order and put all the water exactly where it needed to go. So I ended up creating an xEdit script to do just that!
I've provided a stripped down version of the Blacksmith Forge Water esp that has the water and the fix for the Skyforge in Whiterun (I have not worked on patching Skyforges yet). Pair this with the xEdit script and you can get Blacksmith Forge Water for all your forges including maybe some areas that have never had compatibility patches before.

You can re-create the patch at any time. I have not tested re-making the patch mid-game. So do that at your own risk.
Known Issues
None that I am aware of at the moment
Note that I am not that proficient in Pascal and this is really one of my first attempts at creating a script.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
