Black and gold patent leather with ebony mail
This was done in Paint.net in 5 to 6 hours and was my first revision. The male and female armors are complete!

I've designed it to work perfectly with two mods for T9X69 -
"Black Gold Ebony Armor Remodeling" (
"Black and Gold Ebony Weapons Reimagined" (
I recommend using these in conjunction with my mod (I only designed the Ebony Mail armor and not the rest of the set!)

- Open the downloaded archive and unzip it. . If you already have the mod installed, you can copy "ebonymailbodyf.dds" and skip to step 7.
- Open the folder where Skyrim: SE is installed.
- Open the "Data" folder.
- Create a folder called "Textures" or open a folder called "Textures" if it already exists. It should be present if you have other texture related mods installed.
- Create a folder called "armor" or open a folder called "armor" if it already exists.
- Create a folder named "ebonymail". Make sure to delete any other "ebonymail" folders in there as they will conflict with this mod - the game can only load one mod for textures. -Don't delete any EBONYARMOR folders, don't conflict with my mods
- Create a folder named "m" and a folder named "f". If you want to update the mod, you just need to create the "f" folder.
- Copy and paste the .dds files into the corresponding folders in their unzipped archive ("ebonymailbodym.dds" goes into "m", "ebonymailbodyf.dds" goes into "f").

As mentioned in the recommendations section, this mod is in addition to the "Black and Gold" mod for T9X69. As a standalone mod, Mail will stick out like a sore thumb. Again, I highly recommend using the "Black and Gold" mod for T9X69.
Also, in the featured image, the previously mentioned Mods can be used in combination (this is to demonstrate their purpose - being a complement to the T9X69's Mod - cannot be used as a standalone Mod - the rest of the armor set - Helmet, Gauntlets, Boots and Shield - are not included).

This was made in 5~6 hours in Paint.net, it is also my first mod. Both genders' armor is now completed!

As stated in the Recommendations section, this mod is made to complement T9X69's "Black and Gold" mods. As a standalone mod, the mail will stick out like a sore thumb. Again, I highly recommend that you use T9X69's "Black and Gold" mods if you intend to use my mod.
Also, in the featured images the mods previously mentioned are used in conjunction (this is to showcase its purpose - to complement T9X69's mods - it is not intended to be used as a stand …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
