About this mod Machine translation
For those who thought the original was too small, this mod makes Skyrim's shield larger and a bit thinner.
Bigger Shields SE
This mod changes the mesh of shields in Skyrim to be larger.
It also changes the position of shields in the world to allow for the new dimensions.
When playing in first person, the screen will fill with the shield you are wielding,
So I recommend this mod for third person camera.
The Beetle Shield was left untouched as it was already large enough in my opinion.
Any criticism or change requests are welcome.
English is not my primary language, please excuse my English.
My to-do list:
Edit some of the shields to be thinner so they don't look heavy.
Try learning how to edit your animations so they fit better in the new mask dimensions.
See if I can find a way to have them occupy the first person screen.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
