Collect better spelling learning patches.
First, let me mention that I have no affiliation with BSL or its authors.
It's a slick mod and I wanted to make my experience feel cohesive.
So I want to tinker with all the various mods I use to add spell books.
Below you can find a list of released, planned and paused patches.
Patches are only made with the permission of the original author or their mod page.
The only information included in the patches from the various mods is the list of books in the ESP.
This is for changing the settings book to work with BSL. You will need the original mod, a link is provided in full.
Also, you need BSL (Better Spell Learning) of course.
An important note is needed here.
I have received no response to my permission request to the scientist (the BSL author).
Additionally, the BSL page indicates the maximum permissions allowed to modify and republish.
Please note that I am not using the assets of a scientist.
I initially obtained permission from the scientists to update and include the Apoclypse page in the BSL page.
When this is not available, I rewrite the patch from scratch. It was a great learning experience.
The only information related to BSL is the hook inside the plugin that redirects to the script.
Scripts not included. You will need full BSL.
Now that all of that is done, there's one more caveat.
Each various spell model or mod that adds a spell book will get its own file. The patch version will match the corresponding mod version.
I won't do a merged version. The reason is that I just have to make a lot of changes.
That said, it was easily done on the user side and I started over.
Place the main BSL file after all mods that any patch will affect.
Next place any BSL patches.
Then merge them all into one file.
This is just simple plug-in information that combines many numbers into one.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
