better interior
Better Inneriors is a project aimed at improving the interior units of Skyrim Inns and Taverns.
As is, many other hotels in the game have similar interiors, even if they differ from each other. Whether you're at the Sleeping Giant Inn, Windspeak Inn, or Frostfruit, they all feature a fireplace with two separate rooms. Better Interiors aims to renovate outdated interiors to give them a distinctive look. This project does not intend to edit external content in order to keep mods that affect town and settlement layout as compatible as possible. This is an ongoing project and individual Inn files will be released when completed.
Please recommend interiors you want to look at next! Or report any issues you have and I'll see how I can help.
Update information
Also included is an optional file that adds doors to all hotel rooms. For privacy of course.
-Thanks Hyrdrangea1992 for the suggestion.
Files have been updated to ESL to reduce the number of plugins.
-Thanks to Megapatato for the instructions on how to do it!
Added new all-in-one merged esp files (use either this version or the esl version, not both.)
- A "major thanks" to Jarl_Ballin89, who not only worked on the newly merged esp files, but also completed the port to Bethesda.net! Bring it to Xbox!
Version 1.1 - The Windspeak Inn has been re-added, which was missing from the original Inn. Totally my fault.
Added compatibility patches for enhanced lighting and FX

Better Innteriors
Better Inneriors is a project that aims to improve the interior cells of the inns and taverns of Skyrim.
As is, in game many of the miscellaneous inns are similar, if not the same, interior as every other one. Whether you're in Sleeping Giant Inn, Windspeak Inn, or Frostfruit, they all have a single fireplace with one two separate rooms. Better Innteriors aims to refurbish the stale interiors to something visual distinct. THIS PROJECT DOES NOT PLAN TO EDIT EXTERIORS as to keep as mods that effect town's and hold's layout compatible as possible. This is a work in progress project, with individual Inn files being released as they're completed.
Please recommend which interior you would like to see next! or report any issues you encounter and I'll see what I can do to help solve it.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
