Better Female Khajiit Pain Sounds
Replaced the ugly suffocating noise that caused damage with a better, still vanilla pain sound.
About this mod Machine translation
Replaced the ugly suffocating noise that caused damage with a better, still vanilla pain sound.
I've never hit a female khajiit before because you make weird choking sounds when you hit me with hurt sounds. So I finally took all the voice files and replaced the ugly pained sounds with better ones (still vanilla.) I couldn't find any mods, even in old Skyrim, so I'm sharing it here for anyone else who wants to use it!
To install, simply use the mod manager of your choice, or extract the archive's contents and place them into your data folder.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
