I, like most people, like Better Dynamic Snow and Majestic Mountains, but they're not entirely compatible.
If you load majestic mountains after Better Dynamic Snow, you won't get the benefit of more realistic and consistent snow covering the mountains. Additionally, this may introduce "white paint" errors on some rocks edited by MM. If you load BDS after MM, you won't be able to access the custom snow mountain mesh folder that T4gtr34um3r created for his mountains. So revert the custom mountain and rock snow to vanilla.
This patch fixes this by ensuring BDS material objects are applied to Majestic's mountains and rocks, while maintaining all the key edits T4gtr34um3r implemented for his meshes.
Does not contain any meshes or textures, just plugins.
Need better dynamic snow and majestic mountains.
Works for all 3 versions of Majestic Mountains since the content of the esp is the same.
This is not an easy task because Bethesda uses base objects that are referenced by variants of that object. An edit to the base ID of a referenced object near Helgen might look fine, but might look weird on another object near Windhelm that references the same base object.
I spent a lot of time flying around Skyrim looking for every anomaly, and I thought I covered everything for visual consistency. I'm only human, so if I missed anything let me know: location, screenshots, if you can please use a mod like more info console, provide a base id in the console, it will make tracking easier and allow me to update faster if needed.
So, countless hours later, and with the help of airplane mode, I bring you:
Better dynamics of majestic mountains.
Loading order:
You can load BDS and MM in any way. Just put my plugin after them and any other patches. My screenshots were taken with BDS loaded after MM and MMffy. Testing with both load order options, I saw the same results. Of course, mileage may vary based on your overall load sequence.
Also, if your snow is generally too bright, check your ENB and weather mode settings. I use NVT from Obsidian Weathers, and there is a setting in the Obsidian game that will change the brightness of the sun to prevent it from becoming overwhelming on sunny days.
Works with any snow texture mod, but looks best with fluffy snow, imho.
Thanks and enjoy!

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
