Improved Belrand, with a gorgeous face to match his spirit.

I've thought about everything about Belrand:

His age; based on his voice and general behavior, I'd guess he's in his late forties. As a result, detailed images of his face show subtle wrinkles.

His experience; I think some of the mementos in the form of scars are deepening his character.

His origin; Belrand is a ferocious Nord, and I gave him corresponding light blue eyes and a strong facial structure. Therefore, Nordic tattoos are not too outrageous.

His abilities; considering that one of his basic abilities is hitting the ice, I decided to make this affinity more obvious by giving him a free haircut and facial hair. Gradient blue/white, like icy waves, designed in a fighting style style, he doesn't like long-haired brass because of his focus and movement. It's also great for use with coteries; as a spell, I think his headgear should be magic-oriented, rather than wrapping his features in a solid helmet. His stubble is light and doesn't "swallow" his face.

I didn't change Belrand's weight because I wanted to avoid blackface bugs, so his weight is vanilla. This means you can install this mod mid-game and enjoy it immediately.

Installation and compatibility

There are three versions of this mod, and they are all independent. I want to avoid patching to read the number of plugins in the load order.

The recommended installation is through the Mod Manager of your choice (MO2, Vortex). Otherwise (not recommended), extract the .rar file into your Data folder.

Default version:

You should install this software if you use neither USSEP nor cutting room floors. Both of these mods (which I think are pretty important) are doing a lot of work on

Belland.

If you are making your own mash/smash/merge patch (and you are familiar with SSEEdit) you can also install this version, but make sure to open SSEEdit after creating the patch, find BelrandKatarsi.esp and check for conflicts under Non. -Player Character.

USSEP version:

If you are using USSEP - without CRF, you should install this software. Changes from USSEP are integrated into the plugin and you don't need a patch.

CRF version:

Since USSEP and CRF use the same editor on Belrand, install this file if you are using Cutting Room Floor (with or without USSEP). In addition to USSEP, CRF also provides Belrand with entry-level armor and weapons.

If for some reason you prefer Belrand's default iron armor and iron sword, install the USSEP version.

No patches/versions for AI overhaul are needed because AIO won't hit Belrand.

If you happen to have other mods that affect Belrand, please let me know and I'll see if I can make a new version with the included modifications.

Of course, Belrand should be loaded as low in the order as possible.

I'm using the Male Grumpy Skin - SOS version, and Belrand's face was made with this mod in mind, and I'm leaving it as a requirement until I get more information. If you don't use this mod, you might have a neck seam, or worse - a neck gap. I think other versions of male temper skins are also available, not just the SOS version.

It is possible that this mod will work with other skins, you can test it yourself and see (of course, please let me know) :) Testing is harmless, and you can safely install/uninstall this mod in your current save state - using the mod manager.

To-do list/future plans:

The tall head makes his face. I just need to figure out how to successfully install the high poly header...
