describe:
Are you tired of repetitive, low-paying jobs in the Thieves Guild? Well, throw away your locks and sneaky boots! Now you can pursue an alternative career in crime. Make your own illegal substances and sell them across Skyrim.
Manufacture and sale of the following substances:
Skuma
Double Distilled Skooma
Redwater Skooma
sleeping sap
Balmoral blue
Panacea Skooma
BloodSkooma
*Double-Distilled Skooma and Balmora Blue require the Alchemy perk to become flexible.
You have to find out what kind of skooma each customer wants. It may seem like it's all trial and error at first, but you'll get the suspense out of it. With every sale you make, your voice skills will improve slightly.
Those stupid enough to sell out to guards are sent straight to jail. This may not happen in all holdings, but it certainly happens in the larger ones.
*Sometimes there is a bug where you are trapped in Cidna Mine, Markarth's prison. To save time, enter the console code "servetime" without quotes.
A little story:
Bella, now a teenager, has been introduced to Skooma by a Khajiit named Lu'ki the Unfortunate. (Soon to be in my next mod, Winterhold Rebuild) Even though Bella doesn't like the substance, she asks Lu'ki how to become a skooma dealer. Lu'ki told her how to boil it in the cooking pot and what ingredients made different types of skooma. After meeting up with her friend Lu'ki, Bella heads to the nearest cooking pot. "If I could do this, I'd never beg again," Bella said to herself.
Bella couldn't believe how easy it was to make these. Although the ingredients are a little pricey, Bella thinks she'll be able to make enough money to buy her own house. This has been her wish since she was sent to Honorhall. Bella filled her pockets with an assortment of bottles and drove to Solitude to try her luck at the Skooma trade. There she saw a woman dressed in peasant clothes lurking around the market stalls. Bella approached her and recited the line Lu'ki had taught her. "Do you need repairs?" Bella whispered. The woman turned to Bella with a hateful look on her face.
Frustrated, Bella walked into the inn. She spotted a man wearing nice clothes sitting at a table with his friends. Bella whispered in her ear. He refers to her Skooma as "swamp water" and asks her if she has any Balmoral blue. Bella was so happy she made a batch of Balmora Blue yesterday.
The man expressed surprise that what happened to Bella was so rare. He happily distributed the money and Bella gave him the vial. "1,000 gold! I'm so close to buying my own house." Bella thought as she quickly hid the money. The next day, things got worse. She sold most of her skooma to the town and was desperate to sell it. Then she saw some kids playing tag. "I know this is wrong, but I really want my own home.", Bella thought to herself as she asked one of the girls if she needed any repairs.
Bella couldn't believe her ears. Children in solitude are very shrewd. They even know what skooma is. Bella was about to head to the stables, catching up with the coach when she saw a lone guard standing around. "I guess, I have nothing to lose." Bella wondered if the guard wanted some skooma.
"I was wrong!" Bella said to herself as the guards confiscated all of Bella's belongings and threw her into jail. "I guess you have to learn from your mistakes," Bella said as she looked at the bars of her cell door. "If I leave here, I'll never sell skooma again." Bella woke up to the sound of someone saying her name over and over again. When she looked up, she spotted Lu'ki outside the forbidden door of her cell. …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
