About this mod Machine translation

This patch will make human eyes the "eyes of beauty" model for all races (including vampires) except beast races (Khajit, Argonian), not just for humans.

what this mod does

This patch will make human eyes of all races (including vampires) usable in The Eyes Of Beauty mode, except for the beast races (Khajit, Argonian). This means you can now use the mod on humans, elves, vampires, and orcs, not just humans. When my character became a vampire, I found that I couldn't use the eyes provided by the mod, which was annoying. I know there are a lot of vampire eyes out there, including those from The Eyes Of Beauty mod (link), but I don't want my character to look like a vampire for the rest of his life.

This mod obviously requires The Eyes of Beauty SSE mod. If you don't have it, your game won't even launch because you'll be missing a master plugin.

If you don't have The Eyes of Beauty yet, download it! :) This is a nice simple mod.

All I did to create this patch was copy-pasting the original mod's HeadParts and then running a script on its reference, changing the "HeadPartsHuman[FLST:000A8026]" entry to "HeadPartsAllRacesMinusBeast[FLST:000A803F]". Because I'm too lazy to do it by hand.

How to properly work with vampires

What a mistake the Bartstar game was. If you're a vampire, changing your eyes will just reload your save game or hit the match menu again. The eyes will then revert to standard vampire eyes. There is a way to solve this problem. The mod More Vampire Eyes does the job successfully, and its fixes should work for any other mod of the vampire race (like this one). Install more vampire eyes and then place the eye plugin you want to use below all other eye models (important). Keep in mind that a race (in this case: Vampire) can only be edited via the SINGLE mod. If another mod tries to edit the same race, only the esp that appears later in the load order will be applied. Sadly, this means that any mod that changes the vampire race reference will not work. If you want to know how to solve this problem, read JRICH604's pasted post in the MVE posts section. This does not affect the "Cosmetic Vampire Overhaul" or "Fangs and Eyes" modes, as they do not change the vampire references.

I've only tested this vampire, and only on my system. If something doesn't work please leave a comment.

How to properly make this work with vampires

Bathesda's games are really buggy. Changing your eyes if you are a vampire only works until you reload your save game or hit up the racemenu again. Then the eyes will be reverted to the standard vampire eyes. There IS a way to fix this though. The mod More Vampire Eyes succesfully does this and its fix should work with an …

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
